Punk Rock legends Social Distortion are ready to bring their searing guitar riffs and locomotive rhythm to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 26, to promote their first record since 2004, “Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes,” as well as some old fan favorites like their mega-hits “Story of My Life” and “Ball and Chain.”
Social Distortion has been through three decades of love, loss, and lessons learned. Now in their fourth decade, they have officially achieved one of the most non-punk things possible: they’ve failed to burn out.
Mike Ness, the band’s Front Man, has seen his fair share of trial and tribulations as a punk rock star through the decades. However, it is the music that got him through.
“The most common thing I hear is, ‘Man, your music got me through some hard times,’” Ness says. “And I just say, ‘Me too.’”
Social Distortion at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for all ages. General admission tickets start at $40 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/2ucpORZ .
