WHAT:
Back by popular demand, 7DayZ LLC brings Southern Cuisine Sunday to Sonrisa Grill. Delano “Chef JD” Jackson, a decorated Air Force retired veteran with more than 30 years of cooking experience, and Chanthy Walsh, Sonrisa Grill’s owner, have teamed up to showcase Chef’s vision of ensuring that hundreds of years of handed down cooking skills are enjoyed in the beautiful lakeside restaurant.
Chef JD has prepared dining experiences for notable names, including Sugar Shane Mosely, Michael Strahan, Nichole Murphy, Jerome Williams, Michelle Corrales and professional boxing judge Robert Hoyle.
Along with highlighting Chef JD’s mastery of southern style cooking, diners can enjoy a display of artwork presented by local artist Mario Smith. Smith has a decade of experience in abstract art and his work is on display around the world, including the home of James Cameron, iconic Hollywood director, producer and screenwriter responsible for such great films as Titanic, The Terminator and Avatar.
