Stylist Jean Marc Levy to Offer Donation-Based Haircut or Style, with
All Proceeds Benefiting Las Vegas Victims’ Fund
To support the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund, Master Stylist Jean Marc Levy and Stylist Olga Demaskaya will offer “Hair to Help,” haircuts and styling on Monday, Oct. 16. They will accept donations in lieu of payment and gratuity. One hundred percent of donations collected will be given to this fund.
Says Levy, “As the place I proudly call home, this city has given me so much. I have decided to give back after the Oct. 1 tragedy the best way I know how—through my work as a stylist.”
A French-born free spirit whose proudest achievement is being granted American citizenship in 2017, Jean Marc Levy knew from a young age he wanted to make his way to the states. This baseball-obsessed Frenchman, who played first baseman and catcher for France’s national team, eventually found another passion in hair styling. He trained under the world-renowned Eric Zemmour of L’Oreal Studios, and, in 2006, brought his unprecedented creativity and experience stateside where he accepted a position at the José Eber Salon in Las Vegas and Christophe of Beverly Hills before moving to Red Rock Salon and Spa. He has since received recognition for his work as a hairstylist, including being named “Best of Las Vegas” by Las Vegas Weekly and one of the Top Four French Stylists Working in America by L’Eclaireur Magazine. His favorite part of the gig, though? Helping clients – especially women – feel more confident and comfortable in their skin.
