Sunday Brunch, Maxim Saturdays and the World’s Largest Bachelorette Party Highlight Programming

TAO Beach at The Venetian will celebrate the 2013 season with a grand opening celebration on May 4.

New to TAO Beach for 2013 is a Sunday brunch, allowing guests to enjoy specialty items from the TAO kitchen while taking in the scene from an exclusive section of the pool complete with tables and umbrellas for the ideal alfresco dining experience. Dishes range from Fortune Waffles and Kobe Steak and Eggs to an XO Omelet and Kung Pao Chicken Wings, delivering TAO’s signature Asian flavors poolside. The brunch menu will be offered all day Sundays throughout the venue, allowing guests to feast on daybeds and in cabanas as well.

Maxim, the largest young men’s lifestyle brand in America, and TAO Beach will team up once again this year, presenting Maxim Saturdays. These parties will feature a rotating schedule of cover model appearances, model searches, and contests with the perfect summertime soiree, and winners of the events may be featured in Maxim or Maxim.com. A highlight of the summer will be the Maxim Music Weekend in celebration of the magazine’s music issue and on May 18 the hottest acts in music will be found at TAO Beach.

The weekend of July 19-21 brings the second annual World’s Largest Bachelorette Party to TAO Beach, when brides-to-be gather for one final fling before the ring. Giveaways and gift bags, bachelorette party festivities such as spa treatments, pole dancing classes and more are on the schedule for this ultimate pre-wedding weekend.

TAO Beach transports visitors to an exotic Balinese escape. Exclusive cabanas, day beds for lounging and lush horticulture, including forty foot tall bamboo trees highlight the day to night venue, while world renowned talent commands the center stage DJ booth.

TAO Beach is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. until sunset offering the hottest daytime experience in Las Vegas. By day, guests can secure a reservation to lounge poolside in one of twelve luxury cabanas that feature such amenities as air-conditioning, high definition plasma screen televisions with gaming consoles, a DVD library, WiFi, and customized mini bars. Other amenities include sunglass cleaning, a staff of masseuses, and personal body misters who will cool you down upon request. Asian-inspired day beds are scattered throughout the 18,000 square foot oasis, which also includes a 30-foot bar where guests can sip on TAO-tinis and TAO-jitos made with fresh exotic ingredients. An extensive appetizer, sushi and grill menu from the kitchen of TAO Asian Bistro is available 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the new brunch served 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Each weekend TAO Beach serves as an extension of the famed nightclub with cabanas and tables for VIP bottle service. As night falls, guests will find themselves in an open-air nightclub featuring 14-foot fire columns, high-energy music from resident and international guest DJs, and strategically-placed beds, perfect for lounging with friends while taking in the action.

TAO Beach daytime cover charges are as follows: Friday, Saturday and Sunday men $20, ladies $20; no cover Monday-Thursday; local ladies complimentary.
