THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS WELCOMES REBELUTION AND MATISYAHU, BLINK-182 WITH SPECIAL GUEST NEW BEAT FUND, TO SET YOUR LIFE TO MUSIC SERIES AT BOULEVARD POOL

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomes the additions of Rebelution and Matisyahu (Aug. 22) and blink-182 with New Beat Fund (Sept. 19) to the Set Your Life to Music series at the Boulevard Pool.

Joining The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Set Your Life to Music series, Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, Rebelution’s most recent release, Peace of Mind, finds itself at a crossroad, debuting at #13 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 in Reggae, #1 in the Independent albums chart and recently named iTunes “Best Crossover Album.” Since first emerging on the international stage in 2005, Matisyahu has established a reputation for following his muse—from the stripped-down roots reggae of the gold-certified Live at Stubb’s and the trippy ministrations of Youth, to the polished pop eclecticism of Light. Now, Matisyahu blasts off yet again with Spark Seeker, which finds the one-of-a-kind vocalist exploring uncharted territory. Tickets to co-headliners Rebelution and Matisyahu are $30 (plus applicable taxes and service charges) and will go on sale Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. PDT.

This summer, legendary punk trio blink-182, with special guest New Beat Fund, will join the Set Your Life to Music series at the Boulevard Pool. blink-182 first became a punk rock mainstay back in 1994 with its debut album, Cheshire Cat. The group’s second album, Dude Ranch, sold more than 1 million copies, only to achieve even greater success in 1999 with the multi-platinum selling Enema of the State. With crossover hits, such as “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things,” blink-182 continued climbing the charts until a temporary hiatus in 2005. Now, one year since the group’s last Boulevard Pool show, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker return to rile the crowd again. Tickets to blink-182 are $60 (plus applicable taxes and service charges) and will go on sale Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. PDT.

Tickets are available online at www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com or through Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000. Each show is all ages. Cabanas and daybeds start at $500 and can be reserved by emailing [email protected] or by calling 702.698.7778. Guests must be 21+ to reserve a cabana which includes express entry and dedicated cocktail service.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. The excitement of live-music and sports action spills onto the casino floor from Book & Stage, an upscale sports and entertainment lounge, while live DJs fill the rhythmic and vibrant hot-spot BOND with the best in house-music. Finally, The Chandelier, a dramatic inhabitable three-story architectural wonder, created by 2 million luminous crystals, houses three unique bar experiences: high-energy hot spot, sophisticated cocktail retreat and inviting lounge. Perched high above the Las Vegas Strip, the Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage and The Strip by night.
