The Venetian and The Palazzo Turn Marquees Red on Aug. 31 to Commemorate UNLV’s 60th Anniversary and ‘Premier 2017’
WHAT:
The Venetian®, The Palazzo® Las Vegas, and Sands® Expo will turn exterior marquee signs red to commemorate the University of Nevada Las Vegas’ 60th anniversary and the Division of Student Affairs’ “Premier 2017.”
During Premier, attendees gather to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year with entertainment, festivities, and the iconic UNLV human letter formation. Last year, students earned the distinction of breaking the Guinness World Record for most LED lights lit simultaneously during the letter formation.
The marquees of The Venetian, The Palazzo Las Vegas, and Sands Expo illuminated in red will serve as the backdrop for the official “Premier 2017” UNLV human letter formation photograph.
