Three Square Food Bank November Event Listings
November marks the beginning of the holiday season, but for 1 in 6 Southern Nevadans, it’s difficult to celebrate. More than 340,000 men, women, children and seniors don’t know where their next meal will come from, including during this special time of year. Thanks to a matching grant from our friends at Boyd Gaming, Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, IGT, Towbin Automotive and United Healthcare, contributions made this holiday season will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $140,000.

Orangetheory Fitness is donating $1 or three meals to Three Square each time someone purchases a Basic Studio t-shirt or a reusable shopping bag. Orangetheory Fitness incorporates energizing, group fitness into each member’s workout routine.
Stuff the Bus Food Drive
Dates: Friday, Nov. 1 – Saturday, Nov. 2

The Wranglers have generously offered to once again, “Stuff the Bus” to help fight hunger this holiday season. For every five nonperishable items you bring, you’ll receive one ticket to an upcoming Wranglers game. Euphoria Institute Holiday Food Drive

Bank of America Give A Meal Campaign
Dates: Friday, Nov. 8 – Friday, Jan. 10, 2014
With the holidays almost upon us, Bank of America is raising funds to raise awareness around the issue of hunger in the US. Three Square is excited to be a part of their matching campaign, for every $1 donated by an individual, Bank of America will match it by $2. That’s nine meals for Southern Nevadans in need for every $1 donated!
Glowball

Golf Summerlin is excited to host GlowBall Night Golf, an evening golf event for the whole family. For $50 per person, guests receive light appetizers donated by Cantina Laredo at Tivoli Village, 18 holes of golf with a golf cart, and two glow-in-the-dark golf balls. Join Three Square board member Rose McKinney-James as she supports Three Square at the 5th annual Vegas Gives. Rose is one of eight charitable women being honored this year for her work to make a difference in our community. For every person that registers using Rose’s name, Three Square will receive a donation. KJUL Radiothon

Three Square is once again joining forces with KJUL 104.7 to help Fight Holiday Hunger in Southern Nevada. We’re taking over their airwaves for two days and ask that people call in to make a donation. The radiothon will feature special, on-air guest appearances and we’ll even be giving away some great prizes in return for your gift. To participate, just call 702-528-6060.
Fashion Gives Back

Fashion and philanthropy collide as The Shops at Crystals celebrates an evening of luxurious shopping, spa treatments, specialty cocktails and fabulous giveaways. Fashion Gives Back partners more than a dozen designer boutiques with select local charities in an effort to raise money for their respective initiatives. Robert Cavalli has chosen Three Square to be their beneficiary and 10 percent from every purchase will be donated to Three Square.
KOMP Radio Station Food Drive
Dates: Thursday, Nov. 21 – Saturday, Nov. 23
KOMP 92.3 “The Rock Station” will host a three-day, three-location food drive, benefitting Three Square Food Bank. KOMP radio personalities will broadcast live each day at Albertsons locations across the Valley encouraging community members to be a part of the solution by making a donation.
The Great Shake Blowout

For Goodness Shake is furthering their mission to end hunger in our community one shake at a time by hosting the Great Shake Blowout this month. Join Three Square for food trucks, live music, video games and classic cars. Bring a few canned goods for the food drive as all items donated will benefit Three Square.
26×26 Mission Food Drive
Dates: Friday, Nov. 29 – Monday, Dec. 23
Starting November 29, Jayson Black will be running 26.1 miles a day for 26 days straight in honor of Three Square. Join him on his journey as he runs to help fight hunger in our community by donating canned goods. Along his route, Jayson has partnered with several companies in town to collect food.
