Triple George Named 2017 Boss of the Bars in The Mob Museum’s Annual Repeal Day Competition

TRIPLE GEORGE GRILL NAMED 2017 BOSS OF THE BARS IN THE MOB MUSEUM’S ANNUAL REPEAL DAY COCKTAIL COMPETITION

The Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, crowned Triple George Grill Boss of the Bars in its Repeal Day cocktail competition. Triple George created the Bootlegger Sour, featuring egg whites, gin, sour mix, simple syrup, lemon juice and hibiscus syrup. The runner up was Bin 702, whose Gin Gimlet combined gin, fresh lime juice and simple syrup, which was shaken, strained and served up with a lime wheel. Both beverages will be available at their respective bars for $5 throughout the month of December to guests showing proof of admission to The Mob Museum.

The Mob Museum posted drink-making videos from all six competing bars on its Facebook page beginning December 1, and users voted for their favorite Prohibition era-inspired cocktail. Triple George will receive the Museum’s coveted Boss of the Bars trophy to display on its premises until next year’s competition, as well as a prize package consisting of tickets to Black Canyon River Adventure, the Neon Museum and The Mob Museum’s launch party event for The Underground, which opens in April 2018.

The Underground is the Museum’s monumental new exhibition dedicated to Prohibition history, complete with a working distillery and speakeasy. There, guests will be able to enjoy house-distilled moonshine and other Prohibition-era cocktails year-round.
