WYNN NIGHTLIFE ANNOUNCES HOLD ’EM FOR A CAUSE
POKER CHARITY TOURNAMENT BENEFITTING THE SHADE TREE
Net Proceeds Will Go Toward the Organization’s Emergency Fund

Wynn Nightlife is pleased to announce the Hold ’Em for a Cause Poker Charity Tournament benefitting The Shade Tree, a Las Vegas based non-profit that provides safe shelter for homeless and abused women and children in crisis. Taking place Jan. 16, 2019, the tournament marks the first event hosted by Wynn Nightlife to benefit The Shade Tree. In Aug. 2018, Wynn Las Vegas announced its commitment of up to a $1.5 million charitable investment in The Shade Tree to upgrade its facility.

“We are honored to support The Shade Tree with the Hold ‘Em for a Cause Poker Charity Tournament,” said Alex Cordova, Wynn Nightlife Managing Partner. “We have been fortunate to work with several community organizations here in Las Vegas throughout the year, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue to give back through this event.”

Event entry starts at $150 and includes a pre-event cocktail hour and silent auction in the Player’s Lounge at Encore for all tournament participants. All net proceeds raised from the tournament will benefit an emergency fund for The Shade Tree.

“We are beyond grateful for the partnership with Wynn Las Vegas and are humbled by the generous spirit of the countless Wynn employees who have volunteered their time and resources to help the women and children at the shelter,” said Stacey Lockhart, executive director of The Shade Tree. “We extend our sincerest thanks to Wynn Nightlife and encourage the community to participate in this fun and exciting poker tournament.”

Participants can purchase tournament ticket seats in advance through Wynn Nightlife by visiting WynnNightlife.com or The Shade Tree by visiting TheShadeTree.org; tickets may also be purchased onsite at Wynn Las Vegas on the day of the event.
