Holiday Meals With ace | PLAY Points
Feed a Family Will Benefit Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority Clients
Arizona Charlie’s Casinos will again allow players the opportunity to contribute ace | PLAY points they’ve earned as a result of their play to provide a holiday meal for those in our community who might otherwise go without.
The Feed a Family program allows ace | PLAY members to contribute any amount of points by visiting the ace | PLAY Center at either Arizona Charlie’s Casino now through Sunday, December 15, 2013.
For every 12,000 points contributed by ace | PLAY members, Arizona Charlie’s will give a box of food to the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). SNRHA clients have an average annual income of about $10,450.
Points contributed to the Feed a Family program prior to November 17, 2013 will be used for Thanksgiving food baskets. Points contributed between November 18 and December 15, 2013 will be used for Christmas food baskets.
“Our players loved the idea of helping someone else in the community during the holidays,” said Mark Majetich, Senior Vice President, General Manager Arizona Charlie’s Boulder. “That’s why it makes sense to continue the Feed a Family program.”
“This is just another example of how much Arizona Charlie’s casinos and its players work to benefit the community and those who need it most,” said Ron Lurie, Executive Vice President, General Manager Arizona Charlie’s Decatur.
Employees of both casinos will gather to assemble the food baskets at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 9 a.m. At approximately 11 a.m., SNRHA representatives will pick up the baskets for delivery to SNHRA clients. Each food basket will include a traditional holiday meal – entrée, sides and dessert – sufficient to feed a family of four.
Arizona Charlie’s Boulder ace | PLAY center is open 8:00 a.m. – 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Arizona Charlie’s Decatur ace | PLAY Center is open 7:30 a.m. – Midnight, Sunday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. – 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
