The 6th Annual FearCON Festival has grown enormously since its inception, and the organizers have moved this prestigious independent horror film festival from its previous locale at Phoenix theaters to the spacious Fear Farm at 2209 N 99th Ave. In addition to making the major festival an outdoor event, FearCon will now occur over two days, Saturday and Sunday, Nov 1-2. Special VIP Passes are available in limited quantities at the FearCON box office. VIP perks include an invitation to the Private VIP Costume Party on October 31st, special meet and greet with celebrities, swag and special photo ops on the Red Carpet.

FearCON (www.phoenixfearcon.com) will feature a wide variety of independent horror films, performer appearances, panel discussions, and special effects demonstrations. There will also be appearances from screenwriters, paranormal investigators, the T.A.R.D.I.S. from the Dr. Who series and a concert by Hardwire, Sara Mayhem and Epitaph Romance. The schedule also includes celebrity guests from “Sharknado 2,” “The Walking Dead,” and “American Horror Story-Coven.” The 6th Annual FearCON Festival will also feature Artist’s Alley with Tom Deadstuff, Zombie Paintball, the Umbrella Corporation, AZ Corpse Crew, and Predators.

The exciting slate of events and the outdoor venue has prompted FearCON’s organizers to set up a canopy to shield fans and entertainers from wind, sun and rain. After receiving offers from a number of event planners, the lowest priced canopy was available for $9,000. In order to help make this event feature possible, FearCON’s organizers have sponsored a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. Along with the satisfaction of knowing that you helped make possible one of Arizona’s premier horror events, you may also receive valuable rewards for your contribution including FearCON posters, one or two day passes, or a VIP preshow.

If you are unable to make a contribution at this time, please consider helping make the 6th Annual FearCON Festival a major success by sharing the word on social media. You can also help by letting the organizers know if there are any organizations which are willing to provide free resources or services during the event.
