Morton Group’s Greek Sneek and CRUSH at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino will gear up for hockey season with game day deals on bites and brews starting Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Available during all Las Vegas hockey game nights, Greek Sneek and CRUSH will offer Ryan Reaves’ locally brewed beer, 7Five Training Day, priced at $6. House wines, sangria and select draft beers will be priced at $6.

Featured menu selections will include short rib tacos, prepared with pickled red onions and cilantro, priced at $9; Maine lobster rolls, served on warm brioche, with celery and herb mayo, priced at $9; and all woodfired pizzas including the meatball pizza, topped with sliced lamb meatballs, tomatoes and tzatziki, priced at $11.

The restaurants’ full menus of signature dishes also will be available including Greek Sneek’s steak gyro, prepared with red onion, tomato, tzatziki, feta cheese and fries, priced at $27, and baked feta, topped with roasted heirloom tomatoes, priced at $14; CRUSH’s 8-ounce Angus burger topped with applewood bacon and Vermont cheddar, priced at $23, and shrimp ceviche, prepared with mango, Asian pear and tomatillo salsa, priced at $19.

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is officially the first bowling alley to partner with KultureCity, making the venue the first sensory inclusive bowling alley in the world. This ground-breaking partnership was teased by acclaimed Imagine Dragons’ drummer and KultureCity board member, Daniel Platzman at Nevada Public Radio Trivia Night hosted at Brooklyn Bowl earlier this summer.

“It is incredibly fulfilling for me to see the iconic bowling alley and music venue from my hometown, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, join the KultureCity sensory inclusive movement,” said KultureCity board member Daniel Platzman. “I am extremely proud to be a part of this nonprofit and their dedication to inclusion and acceptance of all individuals regardless of their unique abilities.”

BEER PARK at Paris Las Vegas will serve as the  headquarters for hockey fans with beer buckets, bubble hockey and dozens of high-definition TVs showing games throughout the 2019-2020 hockey season starting Wednesday, Oct. 2.

 

BEER PARK will offer beer buckets with five bottles of Budweiser, priced at $35. Plus, guests will have a chance to take their turn at a Vegas-branded arcade-style bubble hockey game. The Strip-side restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor space also offers convenient betting with the venue’s in-house sportsbook kiosk, one of just a few places in Las Vegas outside of casino sports books to offer live betting.

 

During all games, fans may indulge in an assortment of over 100 varieties of beer, including 36 on draft. Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will celebrate hockey season with viewing parties for professional hockey games starting Tuesday, Oct. 2, as well as a signature cocktail inspired by Vegas’ home team.

 

In honor of hockey season in Las Vegas, Cabo Wabo will stir up the Golden Mule, handcrafted with vodka, St. Germain, mango puree, pineapple juice and fresh lime juice, topped with ginger beer, priced at $12. Hockey fans may also cheer on teams, while enjoying tequila flights, priced at $24; and pitchers of margaritas, priced starting at $39.

 

Games will be shown throughout the cantina on flat-panel big-screen TVs, including a 200-inch video grid, a 200-inch projection screen, a 110-inch high-definition TV, two 80-inch high-definition TVs and 25 high-definition TVs, visible from any seat in the restaurant. Cabo Wabo serves a variety of signature menu items that may be enjoyed during game days, including the nacho platter, made with a house cheese blend, beans, jalapenos, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced at $14.95; and Sammy’s Tequila Shrimp, served with garlic seasoned Baja shrimp and tequila-lime sauce, priced at $14.95.

Fly, drive, take a train, or even a cross-country road trip via taxi (like Phoebe & Joey in her Yellow Cab) to Las Vegas for a one-of-a-kind Friends 25th Anniversary celebration in the Entertainment Capital of the World, October 18-19. Warner Bros. Television Group joins AT&T and MGM Resorts International to offer fans a phenomenal Friends 25th Vegas takeover in all its glory, including new fan experiences powered by AT&T 5G.

In the fifth and sixth seasons of the hit comedy series, the Friends gang headed west to Las Vegas to visit Joey on the set of his movie. What happened there 10 years ago, however, did not stay there. In the two-part season five finale, Monica and Chandler took a roll of the dice and impulsively decided to get married –– only to discover that they were beaten to the chapel by a very drunk Ross and Rachel. In the season six premiere, the gang faced the consequences of the night before, while Joey and Phoebe headed back to New York in her grandfather’s Yellow Cab.

The Fountains of Bellagio

“I’ll be there for you, when the rain starts to pour…” On Friday, Oct. 18, the iconic Fountains of Bellagio will unveil a brand-new show set to the catchy Friends theme song, “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts. Created by WET Design, the show will debut at sunset on Friday and run on rotation throughout the weekend and beyond. There will also be exclusive photo opps with the Central Perk couch, which will be on site in front of The Fountains.

Parked –– where else? –– on the Brooklyn Bridge, the Friends Escape Room allows fans to test their knowledge of the series inside Phoebe’s iconic mode of transportation. 

Here’s a sample to get you started:  Which of the following is not true?  A.  Phoebe inherited the cab from her grandfather.  B. Ross named it the “Death Cab” because of Phoebe’s driving abilities.  C.  Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock also owns the vehicle.  D. None of the above. If you guessed D, you’re a natural.  Head to Vegas to try your luck!

Central Perk LEGO®

Go big…or go home! At nearly 700 square feet, this re-creation of one of the series’ signature sets will be on display exclusively at New York-New York. Built out of 900,000 LEGO bricks over a period of four months, this life-sized re-creation from acclaimed artist Nathan Sawaya features everything from the iconic sofa to the latest menu board.

Fun Facts:  No one has ever built a life-sized TV set out of LEGO bricks before. Although the creators binge-watched every season of Friends, it took them longer to build the set than to watch the series. The furniture is all fully functional –– allowing visitors to sit on the couches and chairs. The signature orange couch took the longest time to build –– as the most challenging part of the process was replicating the patterns in the upholstery.

A miniature version of the LEGO Central Perk set is now available at retailers nationwide. 

The 7th Friend Experience

Fans can record a 3D version of themselves doing Chandler’s happy dance or their own favorite move. Using AT&T’s 5G with Ericsson’s 5G network equipment, fans can drop their virtual twin into a miniature replica of Monica and Rachel’s apartment. This experience uses data-intensive volumetric video to put you in the center of the action, which can be viewed on Samsung tablets and the Galaxy S10 5G.

Performance by The Rembrandts

“I’ll be there for you, like I’ve been there before…” The Rembrandts will perform an exclusive live set at The Park, the immersive outdoor dining and entertainment district located adjacent to New York-New York. Famous for their iconic theme song, the musical duo will be on hand to perform their hits and other Friends-related songs. The concert will also be livestreamed over AT&T 5G with Nokia to a big screen onsite to make sure you have the perfect view as you belt out those memorable lyrics.

Give it Your Best

What better way to celebrate Friends in Las Vegas than with a Friends-themed karaoke booth where fans can sing along to iconic music from the show.

Also in the neighborhood, keep an eye out for Marcel, Ross’s onetime pet Capuchin monkey. Although Marcel has gone on to a successful film career with Jean-Claude Van Damme and more, he’ll be on hand to meet and greet fans. Autographs are discouraged.

The show first aired in 1994 using 35mm film, but has since been remastered in Ultra HD quality. Check out the release of Friends in 4K as it’s streamed using new Samsung Galaxy S10 5G smartphones with its immersive 6.7” Dynamic AMOLED screen over AT&T’s 5G network with Nokia. Award winning country music singer and songwriter, Brantley Gilbert will take the stage at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday, March 28, 2020, as a stop on his upcoming FIRE’T UP 2020 TOUR.

 

Just a few short weeks before the much-anticipated Oct. 4 release of his fifth studio album Fire & Brimstone via The Valory Music Co., Gilbert, billed as an artist who “never fails to deliver” by American Songwriter, is already looking for opportunities to bring the music to his faithful BG Nation with a brand new 2020 tour. FIRE’T UP 2020 TOUR, aptly named after track one on his upcoming 15-song album (all written/co-written by Gilbert), will kick off Jan. 23 in London, Ontario and hit 34 cities across the country and Canada, before concluding May 8 in Colorado.  “Fire’t Up” from forthcoming Fire & Brimstone available HERE.

 

Gilbert – who identifies as a songwriter first – has invited fellow singer/songwriters to join as tour special guests: Chase Rice who The New York Times praises for his “prime power country” style, known for hits “Eyes On You” and “Lonely If You Are”; Louisiana-native, country singer/songwriter Dylan Scott, whose hits include “My Girl” and “Hooked,” and current single, “Nothing To Do Town”; and a man Rolling Stone calls “a country-rock version of Bruce Springsteen” after last year’s opening slot on Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around The Sun Tour, EMI recording artist Brandon Lay. Scott and Lay will take the stage with Gilbert at the March 28 show in Las Vegas.

 

“I truly feel like we’re at the point that we can let the music take us where it is meant to go, so with every new album we like to change up our show and make it something that plays to those stories and characters,” shares Gilbert. “We’ll of course still do the hits our fans love, but we are looking at this as an opportunity to turn up the heat a bit and give the songs on Fire & Brimstone a chance to really rock.”

 

Gilbert’s fifth studio album set for release on Oct. 4 features a series of powerhouse collaborations with some of country music’s finest artists such as Lindsay Ell, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson and Colt Ford.

 

Shortly after the album’s October release, Gilbert will set sail for his Second Annual Kick It in the Ship cruise. Beloved Dessert Graffiti offering launches in September
with “Bee My Honey”

 

This month, The Bazaar by José Andrés launched its signature Dessert Graffiti at all locations including Bazaar Meat by José Andrés inside SAHARA Las Vegas.

 

Originally launched at the flagship Bazaar location in Beverly Hills, Dessert Graffiti is designed to be shared by four to six guests and is artfully presented tableside, featuring more than a dozen bites. “Our graffiti is like a canvas,” said Bazaar Beverly Hills Pastry Chef Mitzi Reyes. “They’re all going to be a little different depending on who makes it — we each bring our own artistic perspective to the dessert.”

 

Dessert Graffiti combines the culinary and visual arts with philanthropy; each monthly iteration of the dessert is inspired by a different cause, with a portion of profits benefitting a corresponding charity. Previous partners in Beverly Hills have included the Wyland Foundation for the “Under the Sea” Dessert Graffiti board, a tableau of aquatic life in dessert form. Upcoming Dessert Graffiti offerings and partnerships will launch monthly and will be consistent across all three locations.

 

In September, all Bazaar locations will honor National Honey Month, collaborating with The Bee Informed Partnership. Bee My Honey will feature a tableside presentation of 15 honey-infused and honey-inspired desserts designed to illustrate the importance of the honey bee. Available all month long, a portion of the cost of each dessert will be donated to help increase awareness and understanding of the role that bees and honey play in our ecosystem, a cause particularly dear to Chef José’s heart.

Champagne flowed at SAHARA Las Vegas on Wednesday, Sept. 4, when international cabaret sensation BLANC de BLANC celebrated its grand opening with a VIP red carpet affair. The acclaimed production, which features high-flying aerial stunts, serious booty and one fine French hunk, made its debut inside the recently renamed BLANC de BLANC Theatre with a champagne soiree attended by several Las Vegas entertainers.

Among those in attendance were Anthony Cools, Aussie Heat, David Goldrake, Eric Jordan Young, Gerry McCambridge, Jennifer Romas, Kate Shelor and Marc Savard, Melody Sweets, Ricardo Laguna, Sabina Kelley, X Burlesque, Zowie Bowie, and performers from FANTASY and Thunder From Down Under, who were seated in the production’s exclusive hot tub seats.
