Utility NFT Collections of Iconic Vegas Vickie Kicking Cowgirl Neon Sign Offer Real World Perks, including Entry to Circa’s Summer Bash, the First Vegas Party Exclusive to NFT Holders
The highly anticipated Vegas Vickie utility NFT collection officially goes on sale tomorrow, June 29. Created by prolific artist Jason “Borbay” Borbet in partnership with downtown Las Vegas casino-resort, Circa Resort & Casino – where the iconic Vegas Vickie kicking cowgirl neon sign resides – the four distinct collections will be made available to the public tomorrow at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. Each of the four tiers of the Vegas Vickie NFT collection will showcase the 26-ft. tall neon blonde cowgirl in various styles. The collection includes The One and Only – a 1/1 sole digital copy of Borbay’s original painting, plus a stunning glass print of the work; Dealer’s Choice – 54 iterations of Vegas Vickie that resemble a full deck of cards (jokers are always wild!); Neon Idol – 250 versions inspired by timeless slot machine icons; and Off the Rack – 2,500 works designed to emulate a Vegas hallmark: poker chips.
The One and Only will be sold via online auction over the next week. The other three tiers will offer a surprise: Dealer’s Choice buyers will be able to mint NFTs from this collection, but their personal collectible design won’t be revealed until a special online event on the Vegas Vickie NFT Discord taking place June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT; Neon Idol and Off the Rack buyers will be dealt their collectible design at random at the time of purchase.
In addition to owning a piece of Las Vegas history, owners will receive an invitation to Vegas’ first event exclusively for Vegas Vickie NFT holders, the Vegas Vickie NFT Summer Bash, August 1-3. This will be a massive three-day party at Circa, including a celebration at its multi-level aquatheater, Stadium Swim, and many more surprises.

- Collection One: The One and Only
Auction to begin at 5 ETH and will be open through July 7 (see VegasVickieNFT.com for auction details).
A 1/1 collector’s item, The One and Only is the sole digital version of the original 30” x 40” painting Borbay created over an eight-day period, which currently resides in Circa’s rooftop lounge, Legacy Club. Borbay live-painted this stunning work in front of Vegas Vickie herself in Circa’s lobby.

Originally designed by Charles F. Bernard, Vegas Vickie took her place on the world-famous Fremont Street Experience in 1980, welcoming visitors from the rooftop of Bob Stupak’s Glitter Gulch Casino. Derek gingerly brought her down in 2016 and sent her to Las Vegas-based sign company YESCO for a multi-year refurbishment. Through research including Mr. Bernard’s original drawings, great care was given to put her back to her original paint and neon color scheme. The sign now lives as a signature art piece in Circa’s lobby.
