Country Rock Group Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Performs at The Orleans in July
The Orleans will bring famous Vietnamese singers and comedians for the SAC MAU TINH YEU show, as well as the country rock group Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to The Orleans Showroom in July. July entertainment will also feature free live entertainment at Bourbon Street Lounge throughout the month.

SAC MAU TINH YEU, meaning “the color of love,” is a Vietnamese entertainment experience featuring performances from top Vietnamese pop, hip hop and country artists as well as stand-up comedy acts from highly-acclaimed Vietnamese comedians.
The show will feature musical performances by Bằng Kiều, Minh Tuyet, Lam Anh, Dan Nguyen, Huong Lan, Trung Hau, Minh Tú, Thiệu Hưng, Leon Vu, Tiến Dũng and The Ocean. Comedians Việt Hương and Hoài Tâm will also bring their side-splitting humor to the stage.

Formed more than 50 years ago, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has been impressing fans with their classic country rock sound. Throughout the years, the band has released several multi-platinum and gold-selling records as well as a string of Top 10 hits, including “Fishin’ in the Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles.” Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has also received multiple Grammy, IBMA and CMA awards and nominations.
In addition to their many achievements, the group’s groundbreaking album “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” was inducted into the U.S. Library of Congress as well as the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2010, their hit “Mr. Bojangles” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and the band’s PBS TV special on their 50th Anniversary show went on to receive an Emmy Award in 2016.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band continues to bring their high-energy performances and iconic country rock hits to venues across the nation. The band’s current lineup includes Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter.
