CREDIT ONE BANK’S LOCAL CHARTABLE INITIATIVE CONTINUE THOUGHOUT OCTOBER
During the month of October, Las Vegas-based credit card company Credit One Bank gave back to the local community through multiple efforts of time and financial support. Bank employees participated in the Las Vegas Rescue Mission’s 10th annual Walk-A-Mile in My Shoes event on October 9, while Bank leadership presented a $100,000 check to Neighborhood of Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHSSN) on October 26.
At the Walk-A-Mile in My Shoes event, employees of Credit One Bank participated in the mile-long walk to raise awareness for those in Las Vegas communities that are unsheltered. All funds raised during the walk-a-thon help provide food, water, support and addiction recovery services for those in need.
Credit One Bank has been a proud partner of NHSSN for 16 years, donating over $1 million to support their mission to provide affordable housing, home ownership, education and neighborhood revitalization throughout Southern Nevada. Last month’s donation was part of two grants that will fund down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers and to construct affordable housing in Historic West Las Vegas.
