Downtown closes its streets for the 2012 ‘Save the Boobs’ Poker Run
97.1 The Point, KOMP 92.3, Hogs & Heifers and Downtown 3rd hold annual fundraiser to benefit
American Cancer Society
Lotus Broadcasting’s 97.1 The Point, “#1 for Classic Rock,” and KOMP 92.3 FM…The Rock Station, holds its 2012 Save the Boobs Poker Run benefiting American Cancer Society at Hogs & Heifers. Representatives from 97.1 The Point and Hogs & Heifers will be on-hand and available for interviews.
Participants will pick cards at various stops to create their poker hand, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. The ride begins at O’Aces Bar & Grill, makes stops at Pioneer Saloon, Whiskey Dick’s, Las Vegas Harley Davidson and ends at Hogs & Heifers.
Once at Hogs & Heifers, the after-party begins with a barbecue provided by Triple George, live performance by Southern Stue and a live remote from 97.1 The Point, #1 for Classic Rock. Entry to the poker run is still available for $30 a participant and $10 for a passenger; entry includes BBQ. There will be a raffle at the party with great prizes to be won; raffle tickets will be available day of the event.

There is a Pre-Registration Party & BBQ on Saturday, April 14, from 10am-1pm, at Leather Headquarters – 4245 Boulder Highway. Prizes for the poker run include two round-trip tickets on Allegiant Airlines, $500 from Dollar Loan Center, weekend for two at Laughlin River Run and more. The ‘Worst Hand Boobie Prize’ winner will be given a set of saddlebags.
