DOWNTOWN GRAND
In honor of National Museum Month, Downtown Grand is offering its Grand Museums package beginning at $93 per night (two-night minimum), which includes a Deluxe Room for two, two tickets to The Mob Museum: the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, as well as a choice of two tickets to the Neon Museum or two tickets to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum.

Also taking place this month: for the property’s popular Grand Super Spin Drawing floor promotion, Downtown Grand is adding a new element in which guests can receive drawing tickets. MY POINTS DOWNTOWN GRAND members will receive one virtual drawing ticket for every 500 points earned during the promotional period. Bonus drawing tickets can be earned three different ways: 1.) Guests at hotel check-in may receive one free Grand Super Spin drawing ticket, 2.) Guests may receive one free Grand Super Spin drawing ticket will be handed out at Downtown Grand signature restaurants including Stewart + Ogden, The Spread, Red Mansion, The Commissary and Triple George Grill with a minimum check of $10 and 3.) When guests turn in a free Grand Super Spin drawing ticket and are a NEW MY POINTS DOWNTOWN GRAND member, they will receive a bonus of five free Grand Super Spin Wheel tickets. The vouchers are valid until May 30 and can be redeemed at Player Services during regular hours of operation.

DOWNTOWN3RD
Together with BOB 107.9 FM, Las Vegas’ largest block party is happening at Downtown3rd every Friday night, throughout the month of May. Locals and visitors alike are invited to enjoy drinks and music. BOB will spin live from 7 to 10 p.m., hosting numerous activities from beer pong to wine tasting. The block party will take place on May 9, 16, 23 and 30.

Upcoming Event:
May 10: Hawaiian Block Party from 12 to 8 p.m. Featuring traditional Hawaiian fare, local craft vendors and performances by Hawaii’s own Kamakakehau Fernandez + Sina and the Big Bang, Hot Lava Productions, Polynesian Rhythms, Nani Ola Dance Company, and more. This event is free and open to all ages.

THE COMMISSARY LATIN KITCHEN BY RICHARD SANDOVAL
This month, The Commissary debuts its brand-new tequila collection, comprising more than 100 unique and rare spirits. Amongst the most expensive labels are the Don Julio Patron Real 1942, El Mojito Mezcal and Patron Anejo Grandiose. Furthermore, every type of Patron including Blanco, Anejo and Reposado is now available. The Commissary also offers a new line of infused tequilas with flavors including jalapeno, tropical and coconut. Prices on this exciting list range from $7 to $95 a shot. All guests will receive a tequila menu and tasting notes in order to understand the plethora of choices available. The eatery is open for breakfast (6 to 11 a.m.), lunch (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), dinner (4 to 10 p.m.) and late night 10 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings; with Happy Hour every day from 4 to 7 p.m.

National Burger Month is May. Throughout the month, experience the OMG Burger, the winner of this year’s FOX5 Burger Wars. The patty is a blend of brisket, short rib and sirloin. May 9: Sight & Sound Day Party hosted by Frequency Events. Every Saturday, PICNIC’s pool party will feature live music by Barry Black Live, Biz:E! and Wizdumb. Local artists curated by ISI will be painting right on the pool deck for guests to watch them create art. The party is 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. each week.

May 10: The Sunday Times hosted by Off Sixth. Relax, unwind and get ready for the week every Sunday afternoon. A rotating mix of DJs provide the sounds including Technicolor, Kittens and many more. The event is open from 12 to 6 p.m. each week.

May 16: Beau Hodges Band for Helldorado Weekend.

May 17: Desert Dragons perform live with a closing DJ set by DJ Moxcie.

May 23: The launch of Flashback Fridays. Cover bands for Cyndi Lauper and Blondie to perform.

RED MANSION
Downtown Grand’s authentic Northern-Chinese restaurant, Red Mansion, is now open for lunch on Friday and Saturday from beginning at 12 p.m. The lunch menu features the restaurant’s Beijing-style dishes, handmade noodles as well as expertly prepared house-made dim sum. Red Mansion offers creative, healthy and beautifully plated dishes, using only the freshest ingredients. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday: 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday: 5 to 11 p.m.

Guests of the hotel and downtown Las Vegas can now experience breakfast… for lunch at Stewart + Ogden. Still planning for Mother’s Day? Triple George Grill will be open for a special Mother’s Day Brunch beginning at 10 a.m. The restaurant will serve a la carte, in addition to their regular menu. The Mother’s Day Brunch will offer Bottomless Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas; Butter Pecan French toast with caramel and bacon; Eggs George with porcini seared filet medallions, asparagus, poached eggs and béarnaise; Crab Frittata with cream cheese, farmer’s tomatoes, green onion; Prime Rib Au Jus with a slow roasted, creamy horseradish; Citrus Panko Halibut topped with a roasted corn sauce, King Richard leeks and baby spinach; Quiche Loraine; fresh spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, mushroom, egg and bacon and finally, Farmers Market Berries.
