Eight-year-old to get her wish to be a Vegas Golden Knight, meet Mark Stone,
thanks to Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada, Allegiant Air®, Vegas Golden Knights
Wish marks the 2,000th wish granted by Allegiant
which will fly the family to Las Vegas for magical hockey weekend experience
WHAT: Born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic breathing disorder that requires daily treatment, eight-year-old Annabelle Hanson of Janesville, CA, is about to get her one true wish: play hockey with the Vegas Golden Knights (VGK); meet Mark Stone, her favorite player; see the team play at T-Mobile Arena; and experience the excitement of a National Hockey League VGK game!
Annabelle, who just recently started playing hockey, has become an avid fan of VGK and has her sights set on becoming a forward one day so she can score. She also dreams of being put in the penalty box and getting in a “fight.” Who knows – Keegan Kolesar might just be the ticket to make this happen! J
Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada® has partnered with VGK to create an incredibly special weekend for Annabelle and her family. While Annabelle’s full experience will include such details as having lunch with the team, giving the team fist bumps in the tunnel at T-Mobile Arena prior to the Jan. 21 game, appearing on the T-Mobile scoreboard, pulling the siren at the game, and attending a media scrum on Saturday, media is invited to witness her interactions with the team at City National Arena on Jan. 20 as outlined below.
Annabelle’s wish marks the 2,000th wish granted by Allegiant in which the airline has provided free air travel to wish kids and their families from around the country – getting them to their various wish destinations.
