FERRARO’S HOSTS FUNDRAISER FOR HOPE MEANS NEVADA TO END TEEN SUICIDE IN THE STATE

WHAT:
On Thursday, May 20, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar hosted a fundraising event for Hope Means Nevada (HMN), the community-based non-profit focused on eliminating youth suicide in the state. This event was made possible through the generous support UNLV’s Athletic Department, and Ferraro’s presented HMN with a $10,000 check during the event. All funds raised will be used to increase public awareness around the importance of mental wellness and initiatives to connect youth and their families with mental health resources.

During the event, NFL Cheerleader Kristina Cullinane, whose sister took her own life in 2016, spoke to attendees about the importance of promoting teen mental wellness resources and support.
