FERRARO’S HOSTS “UNPARALLELED PAIRINGS,” AN EXCLUSIVE DINNER
FEATURING FEUDI DI SAN GREGORIO WINES AND HENNESSY COGNACS
Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar will present a first-ever wine, cognac and culinary event on Friday, May 11, at 6 p.m., when Feudi di San Gregorio wines and Hennessy cognacs unite for “Unparalleled Pairings,” an exclusive, four-course dinner.
Feudi San Gregorio, located in Irpinia in the Avellino province, has become one of the top wineries in Southern Italy’s robust wine-making region. Dedicated to utilizing local grape varieties and preserving the rigorous wine-making standards and traditions, Feudi di San Gregorio embarked on an ambitious architectural project in 2004. The owners enlisted noted Japanese architect Hikaru Mori to create a structure, while Italian designers Massimo and Lella Vignelli designed the interiors and furnishings. Feudi di San Gregorio aims to be more than an exceptional winery, becoming a place where people can meet, learn and meditate, a workshop of ideas and culture—as well as a place where oenophiles can find good wine.
Hennessy Maison, founded in Cognac, France, in 1765 by Ireland native Richard Hennessy is synonymous with high-quality brandies. Today, Hennessy produces half the world’s cognac and remains one of the globe’s most in-demand spirit. The varieties offered at this dinner will include Hennessy Cognac Paradis, which can retail for $1,000 or more, as well as Cognac XO.
