Flora Couture Announces Opportunity Village as the Fall/Winter 2021 Designated Charity for Their Community in Bloom Initiative
Custom-designed floral arrangements will raise funds for local nonprofits and are now available for purchase
Through their Community in Bloom initiative, Flora Couture announces Opportunity Village as the local charity of choice from October 4th until December 31st. In summer of 2021, ambassadors from Opportunity Village visited the Flora Couture team at their design studio to create their custom arrangements, representing their mission and values in a creative way. For each arrangement purchased, Opportunity Village will receive twenty percent of the total to help raise awareness and support their cause. The arrangements, “Graceful Gratitude” and “Winter Light”, are available to the public for purchase at www.floracouture.com/communityinbloom from now until the end of the year.
“Community in Bloom” was in the making for a few years, but the catalyst that really set this in motion was the pandemic. The overwhelming love and support that we received during that period was tremendous. And at the same time, we really wanted to find a way to “Make Life Bloom” for our community during what was such a gloomy time for so many people. As a result, Community in Bloom was born,” says Michelle, owner of Flora Couture.
Flora Couture will continue to work with local nonprofits through Community in Bloom in an effort to increase awareness, incentivise community collaboration, and raise funds to help support their cause. Each quarter, a different local nonprofit will be selected and a new, custom designed floral arrangement will be released for purchase.
