Highly Anticipated Studio Combines Exercise with Artistic Touch
Shine Alternative Fitness will introduce fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels to an innovative approach to getting in shape with its grand opening in Loft Works at 6415 S. Tenaya Way #100 near Rainbow Blvd. and Sunset Road on Wednesday, Feb. 29. Las Vegas’ premier artistic workout destination will showcase “the art of fitness” through an exciting line-up of specialty classes available exclusively at Shine’s 4,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility.
Founded by two remarkable performers, Dima Shine and Russ Petroni, Shine combines a diverse roster of classes to develop strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. “We wanted to bring the many ways that performers stay in shape to the masses,” said Shine, currently an artist in Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity™. “Plus, Shine brings all of these workout methods together into one studio.”
The classes, taught by past and present Cirque du Soleil performers and top industry champions, include aerial arts, gyrokinesis, kickboxing, yoga, pole fitness and stretch, as well as a variety of dance courses such as ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, modern and zumba. Additional innovative workout sessions designed to integrate the human body’s natural movement into the workout experience include AntiGravity Yoga®, which suspends participants in the air to achieve challenging yoga poses, and Gyrotonic®, which stimulates the entire body through the use of a unique pulley tower. Class times will range from 60 to 90 minutes.
The entire community is encouraged to participate in Shine’s complimentary open house featuring instructor meet-and-greets, equipment demonstrations, aerial presentations and more from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29.
