An Ode to the Super Bowl Viewing Party with a Gourmet Twist
Due Forni Pizza & Wine celebrates the third annual Foodie Bowl on Sunday, February 2 in conjunction with Dominic Scali, aka The Vegas Foodie. Foodie Bowl III is a Super Bowl viewing party for people who love food as much as they love football and will feature games such as Wine Pong, and giveaways including bottles of wine, football gear, and food gift certificates.
Guests can kick-off their savory Super Bowl experience with game day gourmet grub items and $5 wine and Peroni beer. The menu includes Turkey Meatball Sliders with mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes ($6.95), Roasted Dates with Alto Adige speck, goat cheese and vincotto ($5), Roman Piadina with pulled pork, fontina and caramelized onions ($12.95) and Short Rib Lasagna with roasted cremini mushrooms and a red wine reduction ($16.95). Also joining the line-up: Duck Confit with fresh spinach, caramelized onions and ubriaco ($12.95), Gnocchi with house made sausage, San Marzano tomatoes, and parmigiano reggiano, which can also be ordered vegetarian style ($8.95) along with a Vegetarian Flat Bread, topped with basil pesto, cherry tomato and parmigiano reggiano ($5).
Due Forni’s regular menu featuring Neapolitan and Roman pizzas, bufala mozzarella bar, inventive appetizers and salads and oven roasted entrees will also be available throughout the day.
Foodie Bowl III takes the gridiron gourmet; the event offers a comfortable setting to enjoy the game while fueling fans’ excitement with scrumptious game day sustenance at an affordable price.
