Freed’s Bakery Celebrates 60 Years in Las Vegas
Bakery to Offer Weeklong Cupcake Happy Hour
Freed’s Bakery, popular family-owned establishment, will celebrate 60 years of sweet treats and creative cakes in Las Vegas with a cupcake happy hour, available from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18 through Friday, Nov. 22.
In honor of 60 years, Freed’s will offer select cupcake flavors for 60 cents at Freed’s Bakery, located at 9815 S Eastern Ave., and both Freed’s Dessert Shops, located at 6475 N Decatur Blvd. and 10870 W. Charleston #110. Signature cupcake flavors include red velvet with cream cheese icing, and chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing.
Established in 1959 by Milton and Esther Fried, Freed’s Bakery is owned and operated by second generation Fried, Joni Fried, and third generation Fried, Max Jacobson-Fried. After dozens of appearances in various national television shows, Freed’s was showcased in the Food Network’s hit show “Vegas Cakes,” in 2017 and 2018. Adored by tourists and locals alike, Freed’s has been voted “Best of Las Vegas” for over 35 years.
