GET SUSTAINABLE ON EARTH DAY WITH BORDER GRILL MANDALAY BAY
FOR THE SECOND EVENT IN ITS RAVED-ABOUT PATIO SERIES:
FARM FRESH MARKET
Friday, April 22 | 6 – 8 PM
Following the success of its debut Border Grill Patio Series event, Spring Break Clam Bake on March 21, Border Grill Mandalay Bay is hosting its second event in the monthly series – Farm Fresh Market – on Friday, April 22 from 6 – 8 p.m.
Designed by Executive Chef Jamaal Taherzadeh to bring diverse, one-of-a-kind events to Las Vegas locals and visitors, the Border Grill Patio Series fuses the restaurant’s signature tastes with outside elements – literally and figuratively. Taking place on the beloved patio at Border Grill Mandalay Bay, each month features an event that incorporates something not usually offered at the modern Mexican restaurant.
Attendees at Farm Fresh Market, taking place on Earth Day, will find Border Grill’s patio transformed into a pop-up market with community farmers, Desert Urban Homesteading and Meadow Valley Farms, showcasing their farm fresh fare. Chef Jamaal has been participating in cooking demos and sourcing produce from local farmer’s markets throughout the past year, enhancing Border Grill’s commitment to sustainability and support for seasonal, locally grown ingredients. Inspired by the work of these farmers’ bountiful spring harvest, Chef Jamaal will highlight each of their ingredients to create delectable dishes for the event’s guests. To accompany the seasonal fare, market fresh bloody marys, margaritas and sangria will be featured as well. This dine around-style evening will encourage healthy and sustainable practices, promote organically grown produce, and show guests how they can utilize these fresh ingredients in their own home kitchens – because every attendee will leave with their own bag of groceries as well.
Tickets for Farm Fresh Market are available for only $79/person at www.bordergrill.com. Space is limited.
