Gin Blossoms to Perform at ECF M.E.N.U.S. on Sept. 16
The Gin Blossoms will perform live at Epicurean Charitable Foundation’s (ECF) grand event M.E.N.U.S. on Friday, Sept. 16 at Mandalay Bay Beach. Guests can dance to hits “Hey Jealousy,” “Miss Disarray,” and “Follow You Down” while enjoying food & beverage from the city’s finest chefs and restaurants.
The band produced their first studio album in 1992, spawning the chart toppers “Hey Jealousy” and “Found Out About You” that skyrocketed their career. In 1996, they released their second major album with another top 10 hit, “Follow You Down.” After a six year break from 1997-2002, the band reunited to release their fourth and fifth albums in 2006 and 2010. Recently, they’ve announced they are recording a new album which will be released in fall 2016.
“Music and food go hand in hand and we’re ecstatic the Gin Blossoms are performing at this year’s M.E.N.U.S.,” said Melissa Arias, ECF’s executive director. “We are always looking to take this event to the next level and this performance, along with the incredible food & beverage offerings, will create a night not to be missed.”
Bill Foley, owner of Las Vegas’ first NHL team, will be honored for his contributions to the city at the event. Exciting silent auction packages are available to view and bid on now at menus16.auction-bid.org/micro2.php.
Proceeds from M.E.N.U.S. support ECF’s primary charitable endeavor of providing annual scholarships to deserving local high school students interested in pursuing careers in hospitality or the culinary arts. Since its inception in 2001, ECF has given $1.5 million in scholarships to Clark County students. ECF is comprised of 25 of Las Vegas’ top food & beverage and hospitality executives dedicated to assisting students in becoming future leaders in their professions.
