The world’s most iconic rock band Guns N’ Roses marks its triumphant return to Sin City for a second residency, An Evening of Destruction. No Trickery!, at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Mounting a second run due to overwhelming demand, the group is set to perform nine unparalleled raw and gritty rock shows starting May 21 through June 7.
Guns N’ Roses wowed fans and critics in 2012 with its first residency, Appetite for Democracy, at The Joint. The exclusive run featured a jam-packed set list, explosive pyrotechnics, eye-popping stage display and much more. This year’s engagement is bound to bring even more surprise elements as the group takes over for a once-in-a-lifetime rock ‘n’ roll experience.
Designed exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live, Guns N’ Roses’ An Evening of Destruction. No Trickery! residency will feature an all-new production to highlight the band’s legacy. Founded by Axl Rose in 1985, Guns N’ Roses is one of the most popular acts in music history and has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. The band consists of Rose (frontman and founder), DJ Ashba (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Richard Fortus (guitar), Tommy Stinson (bass), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrer (drums). Since its debut album Appetite for Destruction dropped in 1987, the band has released a catalog of critically acclaimed albums including GN’R Lies (1988), double album Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II (1991), The Spaghetti Incident? Fortified with sold-out U.S. club shows and UK/European tour, Pixies has begun its 33-city, coast-to-coast North American leg of its world tour. The band with special guest Best Coast will play at The Joint on Sunday, Feb. 23.
Pixies, composed of guitarist and vocalist Black Francis, guitarist Joey Santiago, drummer David Lovering, and touring bassist Paz Lenchatin, are on the road in support of the band’s first collection of new music in more than 20 years. This tour will feature a brand new stage set and production and will give the band an opportunity to not only debut brand new songs, but to offer the most wide-ranging concert set lists in its career.

Actor, writer, producer and comedian Jim Jefferies brings his first full North American tour, “Day Streaming,” to The Joint on Saturday, May 31.
Jefferies is the creator and star of “Legit,” an original comedy series, which returns to FXX for a second season on Jan. 8. In “Legit,” Jefferies portrays a heightened version of himself as a comedian from Australia who realizes there’s more to life (and his career) than the rock and roll lifestyle of stand-up comedy. Prior to “Legit,” Jefferies appeared on numerous TV shows in England including Channel 4’s “The History of Offensive Humor,” BBC1’s “Heaven and Earth,” and ITV2’s “Comedy Cults.” U.S. audiences got their first taste of Jefferies when he appeared on HBO’s “Down and Dirty with Jim Norton,” which in turn lead to his critically acclaimed and international hit, one-hour HBO special, “I Swear to God.” He followed that up with a Showtime special titled “Alchoholocaust” and “Fully Functional” on the EPIX network.

Vinyl is teaming up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to hold Rock ‘n’ Shave, a fundraiser to help raise awareness for childhood cancer. The event will feature live performances by Sin City Sinners throughout the day. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more grants for childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. The venue is encouraging patrons to come on property to shave their heads, volunteer, donate and be part of the excitement.
