Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant, will celebrate International Hummus Day by offering a free side of hummus for every pita sandwich ordered on Monday, May 13.
Pita selections include, chicken, shrimp, kefta (seasoned ground beef), braised lamb, steak, falafel, vegetarian and Caesar, with every sandwich dressed with marinated tomatoes, cucumber, romaine lettuce and served with a side a fries. Various dressings include roasted eggplant dip, olives, feta cheese, roasted cauliflower, roasted red bell peppers, sliced tomatoes and a homemade, Moroccan-inspired harissa. Pita sandwiches start at $9.99.
Additional signature entrée items include rice bowls served with saffron rice and feta salad; skewer plates with vegetable couscous; ever-popular rotisserie chicken, served whole, half or by breast; a variety of fresh salads, in addition to their famous side dishes including vegetable couscous, baba ganoush dip, grape leaves, lentil soup with chicken and saffron rice.
