Two comics who gained notoriety for self-inflicted punishment and off-the-wall comedy make their way to the legendary Riviera Casino & Hotel for a series of standup performances beginning Jan. 17. Steve-O, the star of “Jackass” and former contestant on “Dancing with the Stars,” and former MTV personality, Tom Green, brings their personal brands of physical comedy to the Riviera’s Starlite Theater Jan. 17 – 20, Feb. 14 – 17 and March 14 – 17. The Icons of Comedy Presents Original Pranksters Comedy Tour is produced by Mike Tricarichi and takes the stage at 10:30 p.m. each night. Both comedians will host a meet and greet following each performance.
Steve-O has made a name for himself by stabbing, stapling and puncturing various body parts for the “Jackass” TV show, Killer Karaoke on truTV and subsequent movies. He has taken a break from the stunts to take on stand up comedy, performing both solo shows and with Tom Green as part of the Original Pranksters Tour.
“Tom Green and I have been friends for years, and the show we’ve put together is classic. Watch out, Vegas, here we come,” says Steve-O.
The Tom Green Show was one of the most popular to ever air on MTV. He is most notably known for taking viewers through his battle with testicular cancer as well as starring roles in “Road Trip” and “Freddie Got Fingered.” “Tom Green Live” is currently airing on Showtime and his latest film, “Swearnet: The Movie,” will be released later this year.
