Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will Host a
Minecraft Tournament at Second Annual BBQ Cook-Off & Festival
Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will host a Minecraft Tournament at the second annual BBQ Cook-Off & Festival on Sunday, Oct. 27 from noon – 4 p.m. at the Temple Beth Sholom parking lot. The Boy Scouts Las Vegas Area Council, troop 770 will run the tournament. The competition is open for ages 7 – 18 and will take place inside a game truck.
With 33 million users, Minecraft has become a gaming sensation especially with younger audiences. Set in a world made of cubes and monsters, gamers must figure out how to survive by creating shelters and items to protect them from a world of unpredictability.
The BBQ Cook-Off & Festival is open to the public. Tickets are $10 for children under 18 and seniors 65 and over. Adults 18 and over are $15. Tickets include all activities.
