Are you smarter than a rock star? KISS® By Monster Mini Golf® wants to find out. The unique rock ‘n roll-themed amusement attraction based around the legendary band KISS®, is launching a weekly, two hour rock trivia contest on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. For eight weeks participants will compete against their peers for a chance to go head to head with a guest ‘rock star’ of the week. The finale will be held at Fremont Street Experience where competitors will battle it out for the ultimate grand prize; three days to jam at Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp with Sebastian Bach and the rock god himself, Gene Simmons.
“If you think you’re a rock know-it-all than we want you to prove it. Every Tuesday, for eight weeks, contestants will compete in a rock trivia contest that will consist of three, 30-minute rounds containing 30 rock related questions in each round. The first two rounds will be against a fellow fan of rock while the third round will put you against one of rocks very own. Are You Smarter Than a Rock Star trivia rounds will be a mix of the following: question and answer, name that video clip, rock charades, name that tune (performed live), visual aides, and many surprises for added entertainment. Players will also receive extra points by correctly answering questions in the “KISS Bonus Round.” Points will be accumulated for weekly prize distribution. The grand finale will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 25, in historic downtown Las Vegas at Fremont Street Experience on the 3rd Street Stage. The eight-week contest starts at $9.95 per week.
