Downtown Las Vegas’ vibrant Mexican eatery, La Comida, will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special dish and cocktail, available exclusively from Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16.

Executive Chef Mario Garcia will serve a sizzling Mexican Skillet, featuring juicy flat iron steak, fresh gulf shrimp, roasted chorizo and melted queso fresco, drizzled with traditional mole and served with house made tortillas, priced at $18. The dish will be accompanied by a side Fiesta Salad with mixed greens, serrano dressing, jicama, butternut squash, pico de gallo and tortilla chips, and finished on a sweet note with a mini Flan de Caramelo.

Sweethearts can spice things up with the “My Spicy Valentine” cocktail, made with jalapeño-infused tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile Arbol liqueur, prickly pear purée, topped off with fresh sweet and sour mix and garnished with black lava sea salt, priced at $13.

La Comida will also offer its full menu including signature appetizers, soup and entrees; as well as fresh fruit margaritas and an expansive collection of tequilas and signature cocktails.
