Lev Restaurant Group Brands Raised $12,008 to
Support Local Autism Programs
Donations will support Grant a Gift Autism Foundation of Southern Nevada
The Lev Restaurant Group raised a total of $12,008 throughout the month of June that will go towards supporting programs that assist local children diagnosed with autism.
From Monday, June 9 through Monday, June 30, 2014, the locally owned and operated Lev Restaurant Group involved all its restaurant brands and collected funds from the sales of specific items, such as burger sales from i♥burgers, fruit and veggie smoothie sales from Jamba Juice® Las Vegas, ice blended® drinks from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Las Vegas, entree sales from Daily Kitchen & Wellness Bar and lobster roll purchases from Lobster ME.
The collected funds will be donated to the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation of Southern Nevada which will use them to support scholarship programs for diagnostic, speech and applied behavior analysis, the B.U.D.S. program to develop social and life skills, vocational training and sibling support group outings.
Grant a Gift Autism Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps children up to 18 years old on the autism spectrum and their families with support services such as quality-of-life programs and training to help children and youth on the spectrum to live as independent adults and have a functioning role in the community.
“We’re always looking for ways to give back to the community, especially to those groups that assist citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities, which is part of our mission at Lev Restaurant Group,” said Marisa Endy-Vanchieri, Director of Marketing and Community Relations for Lev Restaurant Group. “Thanks to our loyal customers we were able to donate a significant amount to this great organization that helps children with autism reach their full potential.”
Lev Restaurant Group (LRG) is the exclusive Las Vegas-based developer of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Las Vegas locations. The company is also the exclusive operator of all Jamba Juice® Las Vegas locations. Additionally, LRG owns and operates its proprietary brands that include i♥burgers at Town Square and inside the Palazzo, Daily Kitchen & Wellness Bar near 215 & Town Center and Lobster ME in the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes and in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops.
“We really can’t thank LRG enough for their support and willingness to help us continue to maintain needed programs such as our B.U.D.S. program that helps young children with autism gain life skills and learn how to interact with peers,” said Lynda Tache, Founder and Executive Director of the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation. “Every 20 minutes a child is diagnosed with autism and without proper funds to fully support these programs, many children will go without needed assistance that will help give these children a full and happy life.”
