$600,000 Crazy Cupid’s Money Madness – JUST ADDED
Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 3 a.m., South Point Hotel will host a $600,000 Crazy Cupid’s Money Madness where South Point Casino Club players have the opportunity to win a super progressive bonus while playing their favorite slot machines. The floor-wide promotion will begin at $10,000 and continue to grow until one lucky South Point Casino Slot Club Card carrier is chosen at random to win the entire cash bonus. The Super Progressive Cash Bonus will hit before it reaches $25,000, and when it does, any active Casino Club player will win $25 in free play. Once the bonus is hit, the progressive bonus will reset at $10,000. There will also be a free play progressive bonus that will start at $1,000 and must hit by $2,500. This bonus will hit on average three times per day and will reset at $1,000. Slot machine players have the opportunity to win either bonus at any time just for being active players on the casino floor. There are no specific hand or reel combinations necessary to win the progressive bonus. All free play is valid for seven days.
Double Points on Video Poker – Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19 – JUST ADDED
South Point Club members who play video poker machines will receive double the points on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19. Players who earn 1,000 base points in video poker play will earn $6.
Five Times the Points on Reel Machines – Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19 – JUST ADDED
South Point Club members will earn five times the points on slots and video reel machines on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19. Players who receive 1,000 base points in reel play will receive $15.
Handicapping Challenge
South Point Race Book hosts a weekly Handicapping Challenge for horse racing enthusiasts and will select up to two race tracks for participants to place mythical wagers on for the opportunity to win up-to $500 during each weekly challenge. For a $10 entry fee, players will receive $50 per day of mythical wagers that can be placed on the selected horse tracks. Players must play $50 each day and play a minimum of 3 days ($150) per weekly contest. Every week, $500 will be awarded to the contestants with the highest score. In the event of a tie, all tied contestants will split the prize pool. The weekly challenges will run every Sunday through Friday.
Pegasus World Cup Handicapping Seminar
The South Point Race Book will host a Pegasus World Cup Handicapping Seminar for racing fans on Friday, Jan. 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. The seminar gives horse racing enthusiasts a chance to preview competing horses and learn complete racing histories from host Ralph Siraco, expert handicapper Patrick McQuiggan and Toby Turrell. This event is free and open to the public.
$190,000 Spring Freeroll
South Point Poker players can qualify for the $190,000 Spring Freeroll Thursday, Feb 1. through Monday, April 30. Players will need to play 120 hours to qualify for the Spring Freeroll Tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 12. Players will receive $100 for qualifying and $10,000 in tournament chips. The tournament will pay out $35,000 for first place, $15,000 for second place and $10,000 for third place. The tournament will payout the top 75 places. In addition, player that play additional hours will receive bonus payouts: 121-220 hours ($1 per hour); 221-320 hours ($2 per hour); 321-420 hours ($3 per hour); and 421+ hours ($4 per hour). Double hours and double comps are available from 9 a.m. to Noon and 10 to midnight. Qualifying tournaments will be held Monday, May 7 through Wednesday, May 9. Finals will be held Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m.
Playoff Poker Parlay Drawings
The South Point Poker Room will host the Playoff Poker Parlay Drawings where players can qualify now through Sunday, Feb. 4 to win up to $1,000 in cash during professional football playoff games. Players can qualify for the Playoff Poker Parlay drawings by showing a flush or better to receive a drawing ticket. Players will fill out the ticket for the team that will win during the playoffs. Winners will then be randomly drawn from the box of the team that is leading at the end of each quarter and from the box of the team who wins that game.
$50,000 Guaranteed Texas Hold’em Super Tournament – Thursday, Feb. 1 and Friday, Feb. 2
The South Point Poker Room will host the $50,000 Guaranteed Texas Hold’em Super Tournament. There will be two days offered to buy into the tournament, including Day 1A on Thursday, Feb. 1 and Day 1B Friday, Feb. 2 at 12 p.m. The second day of the tournament will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 12 p.m. The chip leader at the end of each Day 1 will take home a bonus of $2,500. The top 15 percent of players from each day will move on to Day 2 and the top 10 percent of players will take home a share of the $50,000 prize.
The Big Game Watch Parties – Sunday, Feb. 4
The South Point Showroom, Exhibit Hall and Grand Ballroom will host watch parties for the Big Game on Sunday, Feb. 4 with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. Throughout the football game, guests will enjoy food and drink specials, including $25 Buckets of six with a choice of Budweiser and Bud Light in Aluminum Bottles, and $5 glasses of SKYY Vodka, Captain Morgan, Crown Royal and Don Julio. Food specials include ($1) Hot Dogs, ($1) Popcorn, ($3) Pizza Slices, ($5) Pulled Pork Nachos, ($5) Chicken Fingers, ($5) Chicken Wings; ($5) Hot Sausage and Peppers Sub. In addition, South Point will place additional wagering stations inside or near each of the viewing parties. For the quickest and easiest way to place bets, guests can log onto the Nevada Sports Books app from anywhere in the casino. All viewing parties are free and open to guests 21 and older.
No-Limit Texas Hold’em Daily “BOUNTY” Tournament
South Point Casino hosts daily No-Limit Texas Hold’em “BOUNTY” tournaments at 10 a.m. Casino players will have the opportunity to participate in each “BOUNTY” tournament for a $50 buy-in that includes $7,500 in tournament chips. In addition, $5 Bounties will be paid out for each player you knock out. Unlimited re-entry until the first break.
No-Limit Hold’em Tournament Assortment
South Point Casino will host daily No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments at 2 p.m. including, Micro No-Limit Hold’em, Big Bounty, Double Stack, Stamina and Survivor.
- Monday and Wednesday: South Point Poker players can participate in a Micro No-Limit Hold’em tournament for a $20 buy-in, which will give players $2,000 in tournament chips. Players can also receive an additional $2,000 in tournament chips for a $20 add-on when players’ chip count is below $5,000. Unlimited re-entry until the end of the first break.
- Tuesday and Thursday: South Point Casino will host a No-Limit Texas Hold’em Big Bounty Tournament for a $50 buy-in, which will give players $7,500 in tournament chips. In addition, $30 Bounties will be paid out for each player you knock out. An additional $5 will go to the first-place player of each entry.
- Friday: South Point Casino will host a No-Limit Texas Hold’em Double Stack Tournament for a $50 buy-in for two (2) stacks of $5,000 in tournament chips. Players will start with one (1) stack of $5,000 and can use the second stack as they like.
- Saturday: South Point Poker players can participate in a No-Limit Hold’em Stamina Tournament, featuring 30-minute levels. Players can purchase a $125 Buy-in for $20,000 in tournament chips. The tournament will host 5-minute breaks between each level.
- Sunday: South Point Casino will host a No-Limit Hold’em Survivor Tournament where the top 10 percent of players will split the prize pool. Players can participate in the tournament for a $50 Buy-in.
No-Limit Texas Hold’em “DEEP-STACK” Tournament
South Point Casino features a No-Limit Texas Hold’em “DEEP-STACK” tournament every Wednesday and Sunday at 6 p.m. The tournament’s $100 buy-in includes $10,000 in tournament chips. Players can also receive an additional $5,000 in tournament chips for a $10 add-on. Unlimited re-entry until the end of the first break.
Prime Time Mondays
South Point Hotel hosts “Prime Time Mondays” for Casino Club Card holders age 50 and older. Prime Time Mondays offer a $5,000 Free Slot Tournament from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tournament’s first place winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and additional places will be rewarded with free play. In addition, guests who pay with their points will receive half point dining all day at all restaurants (Primarily Prime Rib & Baja Miguel’s are closed on Monday) and half point bingo all day.
