Top six finalists will compete at MSOP Championship Tournaments in Las Vegas, Oct. 27 – Nov. 5
Major Series of Putting (MSOP) is hosting local qualifiers at TaylorMade Golf Experience in Las Vegas, beginning Aug. 3. The top six finalists from the qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete for a piece of the $50,000 purse in the Team Championship at the MSOP finals taking place Oct. 27 – Nov. 5 in Las Vegas.
“With the high demand of qualifiers in Las Vegas, we’re excited to offer more opportunities to our potential players,” said Guillaume Beland, president and general manager of MSOP. “With TaylorMade’s strong pressence in the community and our championship events taking place in the same city, it’s a definite hole in one.”
Beginning Aug. 3, weekly pre-qualifying events will be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Players are offered one complimentary entry with additional retries for $10 each or three retries for $20. The first monthly final will be held Aug. 25 and two additional finals will be held in September and October. From each of these finals, the top two players will be awarded the opportunity to compete in the Team Championship. Deemed as the biggest putting tournament in history, the 2017 MSOP Championships are scheduled to take place Oct. 27 – Nov. 5 in Las Vegas. The event will offer a wide variety of putting tournaments including singles and team events in stroke play and match play formats with exclusive events including the high roller tournament. MSOP is holding qualifying events throughout North America in collaboration with golf courses and golf experiences in an effort to find the best putter in the world.
