During this year’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, the cowboys and fans will journey to Mandalay Bay and Monte Carlo for the 10-day event featuring a variety of live entertainment, food and beverage specials and rodeo-themed activities surrounding the 2013 WNFR.
MANDALAY BAY RESORT & CASINO
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino has partnered with Group W Productions, the producers of the annual Cowboy Marketplace, and the United States Team Roping Championships (USTRC), to create “Cowboyville” for its WNFR guests. The resort will be one of the official host hotels of the 2013 National Finals Rodeo as well as home to the U.S. Team Ropers. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center East Parking Lot will anchor the expansive Cowboy Marketplace presented by Roper Thursday, Dec. 5 – Saturday, Dec. 14. Cowboy Marketplace, a Western shopping experience featuring more than 300 Western vendors, will give fans the opportunity to purchase everything from home goods to clothing. It will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with complimentary admission.
Nightly WNFR Viewing at Mizuya Lounge
A nightly live viewing party of the WNFR, hosted by trick roper Anthony Lucia, will be held inside Mizuya Lounge. Lucia will offer commentary throughout the evening’s performance which will include giveaways, drink specials and nightly autograph sessions with the USTRC cowboys.
Live complimentary entertainment will be available nightly inside Mizuya Lounge. All concerts are scheduled to begin immediately following the viewings. The lineup is as follows:

American Country Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Center
Multi-platinum recording artist Trace Adkins and NASCAR superstar Danica Patrick will co-host the fourth annual American County Awards, airing live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center Tuesday, Dec. 10 on FOX. This is Adkins’ fourth time serving as host of the annual awards show which gives fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists in categories such as artists, albums, singles, videos and touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music.
Live Entertainment at House of Blues
GRAMMY-nominated recording artist Chris Young will perform on the House of Blues main stage Monday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. Young, a dynamic live performer has five No. 1 singles to his name and recently released his fourth album A.M., which includes his first hit single from the record “Aw Naw.”

Monte Carlo is home to this year’s WNFR Bareback Riding contestants featuring two-time and reigning Bareback Riding World Champion Kaycee Field. Additional Team Monte Carlo NFR athletes include Ryan Gray, Steven Dent, Jessy Davis, Clint Cannon, Jared Smith, Tyler Corrington and Chet Johnson.
The Rodeo Corral at The Pub
To kick off the 2013 National Finals Rodeo, Monte Carlo will host a pre-rodeo party Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Team Monte Carlo riders will be available for autographs, pictures and meet and greets while guests can enjoy line dancing, karaoke and giveaways.
All 10 rodeo performances will be broadcast live nightly at The Pub at Monte Carlo as well as inside the Race & Sports Book. Live entertainment and giveaways will be offered before and after the events with the schedule as follows:
