Marc Savard lights up Las Vegas with Christmas light spectacular

Giving the Strip a run for its money, hypnotist Marc Savard is spreading holiday cheer through the Las Vegas Valley by decking out his home with a light display for visitors and residents to come and admire. The decorative lights, which add up to about 85,000 in total, are synchronized to seasonal classics, as well as hit pop songs from the year. Savard’s holiday light spectacular can be seen nightly from 5-10 p.m. until New Year’s Day at 1420 E. Robindale Road.

“For some reason, the holiday season just doesn’t seem to last as long in Las Vegas as it does in Canada, where I’m originally from,” said Savard. “I wanted to create a tradition for my daughters to make the holidays last a little longer and seem just a bit brighter. Since my first year putting up the display, word of mouth has been incredible and people come from all over the valley to check it out. It’s definitely a fun way for me to give back to the community.”

The dazzling light display, perfectly synced up to 19 songs, is masterminded by Savard, with input on the songs from his daughters. Among the songs that entertain nightly are holiday favorites like “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Jingle Bells,” “The Little Drummer Boy,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” as well as 2013 pop hits including, “Blurred Lines,” “I Love It,” and “The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?).”

“This is something I love doing every year. Come out, bring your friends and family, and enjoy,” said Savard.
