Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart Shines
at Las Vegas International Film and Screenwriting Festival
Mind-bending Immersive Art Exhibit Wins in Two Categories at Worldwide Virtual Fest
Meow Wolf shared today that two films created for its Meow Wolf Omega Mart exhibit have won at the 7th Annual Las Vegas International Film and Screenwriting Festival. Omega Mart’s “Employee Training Video,” a crowd favorite at the exhibit, won the “Short Films Under 15 Minutes” category and “Into the Source [Triptych]” took home “Best Hair and Make-up” for artists Daniel Casillas, Katie Douthit and JB Letuli.
“So many incredible artists came together to make these pieces and it’s wonderful validation for Meow Wolf and our creative collaborators,” commented Omega Mart General Manager Jeff Lund.
Founded in 2015, the Las Vegas International Film and Screenwriting Festival is a premier online festival dedicated to celebrating the works of independent filmmakers and screenwriters from around the world.
