TAKE A RIDE TO MGM GRAND DURING THE 2012 PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDES WORLD FINALS
Guests will want to spend more than eight seconds at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, the “Home of Champions,” as the Top 39 bull riders in the world take over Las Vegas October 22 – 28 for the 2012 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series World Finals. As the Official Host Hotel of the event, MGM Grand will host a week of bull riding-themed activities.

MGM Grand is home to the top Brazilian bull riders in the world including three-time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes, reigning PBR World Champion and current No. 1 bull rider in the world Silvano Alves, 2010 PBR World Champion Renato Nunes, 2008 World Champion Guilherme Marchi, 2008 PBR World Finals champion Robson Palermo, current No. 2 bull rider Valdiron de Oliveira and top-ranked riders Fabiano Vieira, Marco Eguchi, Emilio Resende and Paulo Lima.
Come party with the group when they stop by the “8 Second Lounge” Tuesday, Oct. 23. The Brazilian bull riders also will meet with fans and sign autographs in the MGM Grand lobby Friday, Oct. 26 from
2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Centrifuge Bar
Throughout the week, Centrifuge Bar will be rebranded as the “8 Second Lounge.” It will feature nightly drink specials and live entertainment sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon. Additionally, the lounge will be the location for the following festivities:
Monday, Oct. 22: PBR Welcome Reception – Welcome the top 39 bull riders in the world to Sin City as local Las Vegas musical artist Sam Riddle provides live entertainment.
Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 27: Official PBR After-Party and Bull Draft – Head to the “8 Second Lounge” and party with the bull riders after they take on the toughest bulls in the world. The riders also will draft the bull they will battle during the next round of competition.
Friday, Oct. 26: Calling all bull busters! The “8 Second Lounge” will host a mechanical bull riding contest where only the bravest partygoers will try and hold on for an eight second ride. A $1,000 prize will go to the best ride as judged by several of the top PBR riders. Additionally, One Night Rodeo, the winner of Great American Country’s “The Next GAC Star,” will provide entertainment throughout the evening.
Sunday, Oct. 28: PBR World Finals Wrap Party – Celebrate with the new PBR World Champion and the other bull riders as the 2012 PBR World Finals comes to a close. Musical artist Sam Riddle will take the stage, entertaining partygoers for the night.
