Now Open at AREA15 “RATED RED,” A Burlesque-esque Show

AREA15, Las Vegas’ immersive art, event and entertainment district, announces “RATED RED” is now open. Come foreplay and stay for more with this burlesque-inspired show, a tantalizing departure from any traditional choreographed experience. RATED RED stirs all desires with sultry, stimulating performances that evoke passion, power, desire, danger, seduction and love—all while providing the perfect evening pre-party. Spectators will be immersed in the action as its fierce cast of diverse, body-positive dancers tease out every fetish with each arousing act while surrounded by erotic digital art. From intense, edgy dance numbers to wildly powerful pole performances to ultra-kinky excitement, RATED RED leaves no desires unexpressed.

“RATED RED” has performances every Friday night at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. inside The Portal, AREA15’s 360-degree projection-mapped room.

Choreographed by Jawkeen Howard and assistant choreographer Starley Ann Carrington, the show celebrates diversity with its company of best-in-class dancers and performers, each possessing their own unique fire. Guests can expect to experience a variety of fast-paced and fun performances, including burlesque, acrobatic, pole dance and showgirl performances set to a mix of live and recorded music. The show features 16 dancers, a live 4-person band and 15 individual dance numbers set to songs including:

  • “Toxic” – a slow, sensual, femme fatale solo dance.
  • “Bad Guy” – Dominatrix-style threesome.
  • “Seven Nation Army” – Traditional burlesque number starring a tempting songstress.
  • “Wild Side” – Sexy trio of captivating male dancers.
  • “Whatever You Like” – Provocative dance between two females.
  • “Pussy Liquor” – Bada$$ troublemaker who gives zero f#cks.
  • “Gucci Coochie” – Grand finale featuring all 16 dancers.

Each performance is set against a backdrop of precision-choreographed digital projection art created by AREA15’s production and creative teams. Imagery includes customized graphics that take cues from each of the performances, elevating the show into another dimension.

An up-and-coming American jazz-funk hip hop choreographer, Howard’s style comprises of a smooth, intricate, sexy, energetic and melodic movement inspired by the late Bob Fosse. Howard is passionate about teaching and supporting his community and has spent most of his career in the entertainment industry including as a performer in Cirque du Soleil. He has worked with artists such as Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Kanye West, Jill Scott, The Killers, Josh Strickland and many others.

Standard seated tickets start at $75; high-top tables are $200 for up to four people; VIP couches closest to the stage are $300 for two people and include specialty cocktails and surprises during the show.

AREA15 represents a collaborative venture between real estate development firm Fisher Brothers and creative agency Beneville Studios, both of New York.

AREA15 and all its experiences follow the latest recommendations of leading health experts and government authorities, including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In accordance with the CDC and a recent mandate from the State of Nevada, all guests visiting AREA15 are required to wear masks or facial coverings while indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
