The Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, has partnered with Oscar’s steakhouse at the Plaza Hotel and Casino on a package combining admission to the Museum with dinner at former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman’s namesake restaurant.

The package, priced at $99 per person, will pair admission to the Museum with a special prix fix dinner at Oscar’s that includes a cocktail and a special three-course menu: Oscar’s Chopped Salad with Onion Strings; main entrée selection of either an 8-ounce filet mignon, chicken or salmon served with the chef’s choice of vegetable and potato; and a dessert selection of New York cheesecake or a trio of chocolate mousse.

Prior to serving two terms as mayor, Goodman led a successful career as a defense attorney representing numerous individuals charged with organized crime offenses. While serving as mayor, Goodman first envisioned creating a museum dedicated to the history of the Mob in downtown Las Vegas’ former federal building and U.S. post office. In 2012, that vision became a reality when the Museum opened to the public. Today, he serves on the Museum’s Board of Directors.

“Dinner at Oscar’s steakhouse makes a fitting capstone on an afternoon spent exploring the eye-opening history of organized crime and law enforcement at The Mob Museum,” said Ashley Miller, senior director of marketing and public relations, The Mob Museum. “Experience Oscar Goodman’s impact on Las Vegas’ history and culture as well as his signature version of classic Las Vegas hospitality.”

“Oscar’s steakhouse offers a classic Vegas dining experience reminiscent of the days when the infamous mobsters of old Vegas dined at the Plaza,” said Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. “We are happy to partner with The Mob Museum to offer our guests a unique opportunity to enjoy two great, iconic experiences in downtown Las Vegas.”

This special package is available for purchase on the Oscar’s or Mob Museum websites or in person at either location. Package price does not include gratuity, blackout dates may apply, and guests are encouraged to make dinner reservations online at www.oscarslv.com or by calling 702-38-OSCAR (6-7227).
