Plant Power Fast Food Opens First Nevada Location in September 2021

Hiring fair for all positions to be held Aug. 2-6

Plant Power Fast Food, one of the country’s leading 100% plant-based fast food concepts, will open its first location outside of California in Las Vegas in September near Craig Road and the 95 on 7090 West Craig Road, Suite 1.

A healthier alternative to the average fast-food joint, the burger spot is looking to encourage consumers to explore cruelty-free and environmentally sustainable choices, one burger at a time. Every food item is 100 percent cholesterol-free with no artificial flavors, colors, hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup.

Popular menu items include The Big Zac, made with two sizzled “beefy” patties, special sauce, American “cheese,” lettuce, onions and pickles; The Buffalo ‘66, a crispy “chicken” patty dipped in buffalo sauce with lettuce, tomato and ranch; The Iconic Burger, with choice of patty and lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, pickles, American “cheese” and secret sauce; and Old Fashioned “Milkshakes,” soy-based ice cream blended with oat milk and offered in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter, coffee, cookies & cream, and cookie butter, as well as specialty flavors of the month. Wraps, salads, fries, organic kombuchas, cold-pressed juices, natural fountain drinks from Maine Root are also on the menu, with many available gluten-free. Kids can also choose from an eight-piece “chicken nuggets” or a “cheeseburger.”

The location will open daily at 7 a.m. for breakfast with organic fair trade coffee and food items including the “Canadian Bacon, Egg & Cheese” Muffin with JUST Egg, Canadian “bacon,” American “cheese” and spinach on a buttered and toasted English muffin; “Sausage, Egg & Cheese” Croissant with JUST Egg, “sausage,” American “cheese” and spinach on a buttered and toasted mini-croissant; Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, a crispy breaded “chicken” smothered in maple “bacon” sauce between two crispy waffles; and Breakfast Burrito, with JUST Egg, American “cheese,” “sausage,” hash brown, chipotle “aioli” and spinach in a whole wheat tortilla.

The new location features a mid-century modern design atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining, airy floor-to-ceiling windows under a sloped roof, a drive-through and self-order kiosk. As the food chain commits to their mission to make the world a better place, all tables, booths and chairs are made from renewable bamboo and recycled waste, and takeout packaging is fully compostable.

The Plant Power Las Vegas location will be operated by Scale x 3 Management, a hospitality and commercial retail real estate group founded by experienced restaurateurs Randy Corrigan, Barry Tu and McKenzie Cox. The group also operates Broken Yolk Cafe in Town Square.

“Even if you don’t always eat plant-based, we know you’ll find a familiar favorite on the menu, and can feel good about what you’re putting in your body and how you’re helping the environment,” said Tu. “The convenience of having a healthier alternative to fast food is exactly what the Las Vegas community needs.”

“Las Vegas’s food scene continues to evolve and grow and we’re excited to be a part of it, first with Broken Yolk Cafe and now Plant Power,” said Corrigan. “We have even more concepts on the horizon we can’t wait to introduce to the city.”

Plant Power Fast Food in Las Vegas will be hiring for all positions. Interested applicants may bring their resumes and attend a hiring fair at Broken Yolk Cafe in Town Square on Aug. 2-6 from 2-6 p.m. A grand opening celebration is planned with details to come.
