Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Saturday, September 2
Prodigious ska and funk fusion rockers Fishbone come to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Saturday, September 29, with special guests.
Fishbone has been blazing trails in the world of alternative music since it was founded in 1979. The eclectic band, who got its start in Los Angeles, has been a pioneer in blending distinct genres of music to create a sound that has inspired countless other musicians, while at the same time remaining inimitable.
With an arsenal of critically acclaimed studio and live albums, the freewheeling band, known for its socially conscious lyrics, has written itself into the pages of musical history. Fishbone has toured worldwide with bands such as the Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Roots, Les Claypool/Primus, Fela Kuti, Dead Kennedys and many more.
In 2010, the full-length documentary, “Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone” was released to praise from critics and fans. Featuring interviews with A-list rock stars, the film is a testament to the band’s iconic status.
