R Steak & Seafood continues its series of wine pairing dinners on Thursday, Oct. 25, with a four-course meal featuring J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines. The welcome reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. The advance-registration cost is $65 per person, which can be made by calling 702-794-9233, or $75 at the door. Both pre-registration and day-of entries are plus tax and gratuity.

v Lobster Bisque, topped with Crème Fraiche, paired with J. Lohr Mist White Riesling
v Seared Scallops with Miso Butter and Seaweed, paired with J. Lohr Arroya Vista Chardonnay
v Petite Filet Mignon with Smashed Potatoes and Merlot Mushroom Jus, paired with J. Lohr Los Osos Merlot
v Flourless Chocolate Cake with Strawberry Sauce and Candied Pecans, paired with J. Lohr Wildflower Valdiguie
