RING IN THE NEW YEAR AT VIRGIN HOTELS LAS VEGAS

Countdown to 2023 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, with fine dining, star-studded entertainment and a nonstop party atmosphere this New Year’s Eve weekend.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass, better known as “the greatest band in the world,” Tenacious D, will harness their unmatched energy to count down to the New Year inside The Theater on December 30 and December 31. Bob the Drag Queen, comedian, actor, activist, musician, songwriter and winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” will ring in the new year at 24 Oxford with two performances on December 31 at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Both shows are 18+ and tickets can be purchased online at www.virginhotelslv.com.

 

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will offer a multitude of delectable dining selections to ring in the new year. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made online at www.virginhotelslv.com.

  • From famed restaurateur Nick Mathers, Kassi Beach House, will celebrate the new year with a special pre-fixe menu, available from 4:00 p.m. – late on December 31 for $85 per person with menu upgrades available, as well as wine and cocktail pairings for an additional $36. The night will be complete with DJs, dancing, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
    • First Course: truffled whipped ricotta, served with puccia bread
    • Second Course: wood-fired squash tart with potato, butternut squash and topped with brown butter aioli with sage
    • Third Course: lobster maltagliati with Pernod cream sauce and lobster
    • Fourth Course (choice of): eye of ribeye with bone marrow chimichurri and roasted mushrooms; halibut with fennel, potato, olive, caper, fish stock and tomato sauce; risotto with roasted maitake mushroom, confit fennel and shallot
    • Dessert: chocolate pot de crème with brandied cherries
  • Guests at Todd English’s Olives will enjoy premier entertainment all night long from Ned Mills and Sally Olson from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Ned Mills and Peter Pavone from 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. and a pre-fixe, family-style menu for $100 per person. Wine pairings are available for an additional $35 per person. Guests will toast to the new year with champagne at midnight.
    • First Course: beef carpaccio with gorgonzola polenta cake, cider pork belly with fennel, apple and celery root and Greek salad
    • Second Course: potato ravioli topped with black truffle and crème fraiche, lobster spaghettini with fennel saffron cream, hanger steak with bone marrow bordelaise and blue cheese and shawarma salmon
    • Dessert: banana tiramisu, panna cotta with berries and passion fruit and OMG chocolate cake
  • One Steakhouse from acclaimed restauranteurs David and Michael Morton, will be featuring the signature surf & turf, 8-oz. filet mignon and Main lobster tail for $99. Guests will also celebrate with complimentary sparkling wine toast at midnight.
  • Chef Kris Yenbamroong’s award-winning Night + Market, in addition to the regular menu, will feature the Tomahawk Steak à la Night + Market, a 32-oz. tomahawk steak broiled with umami glaze, sliced and topped with sautéed chili, garlic, Thai basil and Parmesan for $150, orange chicken with Thai-orange sauce and green onion ($22) and XO pineapple shrimp fried rice with black tiger shrimp, golden pineapple, garlic, green onion and homemade XO sauce ($28).
  • Casa Calavera, will bring an energetic social ambiance from TAO Group, with a lively mariachi band from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31.
  • The Kitchen at Commons Club will offer guests a premium surf & turf for $39, available on December 31 from 5:00 – 11:00 p.m.

 

Guests can try their luck at Mohegan Casino Las Vegas’ $50,000 Endless Midnight Slot Tournament open to all Momentum members who earn 500 promotional points now – 3:00 p.m. on December 30. The top 100 winners will win amazing prices with the grand prize being $20,230 in free slot play. Interested players must register beginning at 4:00 p.m. on December 30.
