Tipping its hat to the more than 30-year tradition of sponsoring the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), Boyd Gaming properties are the epicenter for all things rodeo, Dec. 2-11. In addition to returning fan-favorites like Rump’s Rodeo Party and the Buckin’ Bash, Boyd Gaming will welcome the Wrangler National Finals Breakaway Roping (NFBR) to the Orleans Arena for the first time.

 

Wrangler National Finals Breakaway Roping at Orleans Arena

The Wrangler NFBR is moving to Las Vegas, making its debut at the Orleans Arena at 1 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7. The event is sure to keep people on the edge of their seats as the Top 15 breakaway ropers will compete for prize money totaling $200,000, a Montana Silversmiths world champion buckle and a custom Cactus Saddlery world champion saddle during the two-day, 10-round event, produced by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) in partnership with Group W Productions.

Rump’s Rodeo Party at The Orleans

Rump’s Rodeo Party returns and will take place at 5 p.m. nightly inside the Bourbon Street Lounge. Hosted by Justin “Rumpshaker” Rumford – named PRCA Clown of the Year a record-breaking nine times – this Wrangler NFR Viewing Party invites guests to experience the excitement and watch the live feed of the competitions. In addition to a free Wrangler NFR viewing experience, Rumford will bring his unique humor and antics along with chances to win prizes.

 

Buckin’ Bash at The Orleans

Each night during Wrangler NFR, following Rump’s Rodeo Party, Justin Rumford will remain in The Orleans’ Bourbon Street Lounge for the Buckin’ Bash – “Las Vegas’ best rodeo party after dark.” The fun kicks-off at 9 p.m. and Rumford will welcome a different rodeo celebrity for a “Toast of the Night” every evening. The Buckin’ Bash will be complete with live country music, two-step dancing and drink specials. Guests must be 21 years or older and there is no cover charge.

 

Adult & Family-Friendly Viewing Parties at Sam’s Town and The Orleans

Those 21 years of age and older can trot over to Roxy’s Lounge inside Sam’s Town, for a viewing party that kicks-off at 5 p.m. each night, featuring special dining options and nightly prizes. There is no cover charge.

 

For viewing that is friendly for the entire family, Sam’s Town Live will open its doors at 5:30 p.m. each night. The viewing party is free, and adults 21 and up can sit back and enjoy the full cash bar. At the Orleans Showroom, a family-friendly viewing party will take place nightly, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

 

ALL IN BARREL RACE at Orleans Arena

Watch some of the top barrel racing competitors in the country during the action-packed ALL IN BARREL RACE presented by Stetson at Orleans Arena, Dec. 2-4 (Race 1) and Dec. 9-12 (Race 2). Contestants will compete a guaranteed cash payout of more than $720,000. The event is free and open to the public. Start times for each competition vary and are subject to change.

Bob Tallman’s Wrangler NFR Charity Bowling Event at the Gold Coast

Bowling, celebrities, food and fun will once again be part of the Bob Tallman’s Wrangler NFR Charity Bowling Event at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 at the Gold Coast Bowling Center. Now in its 13th year, the tournament will benefit the Las Vegas chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities and the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Mystic Falls Park’s Winter Wonderland Display at Sam’s Town

Swing by Sam’s Town to experience a festive seasonal display in the indoor atrium, Mystic Falls Park®. This free holiday-themed attraction features more than 26,000 points of light, an 18-foot Christmas tree, garland-wrapped lampposts, animatronic characters wearing Santa hats, and returning for the first time since 2019, a nine-minute holiday laser light show. The laser light show features a variety of classic holiday songs, including “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Let It Snow,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Performances run every hour, between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Adding to the wintery experience, Mystic Falls Park® will make it snow in the Las Vegas desert every night through the new year.
