Celebrate the holiday season with Santa’s Arrival Parade, holiday photos, and nightly snowfalls

Kick off the holiday season at Town Square Las Vegas with a festive parade for Santa Claus’ arrival on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. Before the parade, enjoy live performances from The Nevada Ballet Theatre and “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” beginning at 5:30 p.m. “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” at The Palazzo® Las Vegas is a new generation cabaret and high-energy movie-music mash-up that blends the world’s most iconic love stories as imagined by famed film visionary Baz Luhrmann.

 

Following the parade, Santa will light the 45-foot Christmas tree at Town Square Park and snow will begin to fall. Children can take photos with Santa Claus inside his Norman Rockwell inspired house immediately following the tree lighting.

 

Photo reservations are required to see Santa and can be made online at www.TownSquareSanta.com beginning on Saturday, Oct. 15. Photo appointments will begin on Saturday, Nov. 12 to Friday, Dec. 23. A $20 deposit is required at time of booking and will be applied toward photo purchase. Photos on Saturday, Dec. 24 will be walk-ups only and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

 

This year, Town Square Las Vegas has partnered with the Criss Angel’s Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. Guests are able to donate to the nonprofit when booking their Santa Claus photos online. Johnny Crisstopher Children’s Charitable Foundation (JDS) raises awareness for pediatric cancer and provides funds for research, treatment and ultimately a cure.

 

Town Square Las Vegas will continue its holiday tradition of fun events for the whole family. Highlights include:

 

Santa’s Arrival Parade
Friday, Nov. 11
Spectators are invited to watch Santa’s Arrival Parade on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. The parade will start at The Green near Yard House and end at Santa’s house in Town Square Park.

 

Snow in the Square
Friday Nov. 11– Friday, Dec. 23
Town Square will spread holiday cheer in the form of snowflakes at Town Square Park. Snow in the Square shows are scheduled Monday – Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday – Sunday at 7 and 8 p.m. Each show lasts 10 minutes and is choreographed to traditional holiday tunes.

Photos with Santa Claus
Saturday, Nov. 12 – Friday, Dec. 24
Children of all ages are invited inside Santa’s Norman Rockwell inspired house in Town Square Park for photos to help make this holiday season a memory that will last forever. Santa breaks for milk and cookies Monday – Saturday from 1 – 1:30 p.m. and 5 – 6 p.m. as well as Sunday from 2 – 3 p.m. Reservations are required to see Santa from Nov. 12 – Dec. 23. Reservations can be made starting Oct. 15 at www.TownSquareSanta.com. Photos on Dec. 24 will be walk-ups only and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Claus & Paws Pet Photos
Wednesday, Nov. 16 – Wednesday, Dec. 21
Town Square visitors are invited to bring their four-legged friends to Santa’s house for a photo with Santa and treats every Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. The center requests guests limit their pet photos to dogs and cats only. Reservations are required by visiting www.TownSquareSanta.com.

 

Holiday Nights & Lights Community Concerts
Thursday, Nov. 17 – Thursday, Dec. 22
Every Thursday night before Snow in the Square visit Town Square Park for entertaining community concerts. Local elementary through high school students will spread holiday cheer and take center stage to perform harmonies ranging from school choirs to holiday musicals.

 

Noon Year’s Eve
Saturday, Dec. 31
Families are invited to celebrate the New Year at Town Square during Noon Year’s Eve on Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Festivities will take place in Town Square Park and will include an inflatable slide and rock wall, bounce houses, face painting and balloon artists. A DJ from 98.5 KLUC will provide a fun-filled count down and dance party music before toasting the Noon Year with flavorful juice boxes.
