Silverton Casino Hotel announces its January gaming promotions and hotel experiences, including Best of Silverton specials and Chinese New Year.

Best of Silverton
To celebrate Silverton Casino’s win under 14 separate categories in Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas,” the casino-hotel is offering “Best of Silverton” dining specials throughout the month of January.
From Jan. 1-7, guests who dine in at Twin Creeks Steakhouse will receive a complimentary glass of wine or dessert when they order an entrée. $15 maximum per entrée. Dine-in only.
WuHu Noodle will celebrate “Best of Silverton” from Jan. 8-14 with a complimentary egg roll with any entrée purchase. Dine-in only.
In honor of their win, Mi Casa Grill Cantina will offer a buy one taco entrée, get one free special from Jan. 15-21. $18 maximum per check. Dine-in only.
Available Jan. 22-28, Su Casa will celebrate their win with a complimentary Su Casa roll when guests order an entrée. Dine-in only.
Throughout the month of January, Mermaid Lounge will offer BOGO happy hour, when guests can buy one drink and get one free from 5-7 p.m., including house wine, draft beers and well cocktails.
Chinese New Year
Available Jan. 15-29 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., celebrate Chinese New Year at WuHu Noodle, with limited time menu specials, including:
· Cantonese lobster, a wok-seared shelled lobster made with onions, ginger, snow peas, light sauce and jasmine rice ($56)
· Lobster, ginger and scallion, a wok-seared shelled lobster made with onions, ginger sauce and jasmine rice ($56)
· Salt and pepper lobster, a crispy shelled lobster made with garlic, onions, jalapenos, salt and pepper and jasmine rice ($56)
· Braised pig feet made with bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon and jasmine rice ($20)
· Salt and pepper shrimp, wok-tossed whole shrimp made with onions, jalapenos, salt and pepper and jasmine rice ($24)
· Pork belly with preserved vegetables, bok choy and jasmine rice ($20)
· Shrimp e-fu noodles, wok-fried shrimp made with choy sum, brown sauce, and e-fu noodles ($22)
· Fried sesame ball, made with sweet rice and bean paste filling ($9)

Drink Free on Your Birthday
Silverton Casino is now offering Birthday Happy Hour at Shady Grove Lounge Thursdays through Mondays after 4 p.m. With a reservation made in advance for up to 12 people, guests celebrating their birthday will receive complimentary draft beers, well cocktails and house wine for up to two hours. Friends can also enjoy Birthday Happy Hour specials, including:
· $2.50 Pacifico drafts
· $3 domestic bottles
· $4 draft beer
· $5 house wine
· $6 well drinks and mixers
Birthday Happy Hour is valid throughout the entire month of the guest’s birthday in 2023. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Guests must be 21+ to visit Shady Grove Lounge and will be required to present a valid ID upon arrival.
ENTERTAINMENT
January 22 – Traditional Lion Dance
Chinese New Year is coming up, and Silverton Casino is kicking off the Year of the Rabbit with a traditional Lion Dance on Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. under the porte cochere.
January 28 – Tower of Power
Tower of Power is celebrating 55 years of their musical journey at Veil Pavilion on Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. The group of 10 are an R&B-based horn section and band, blending soul, funk, jazz and rock like no other. Originating from Oakland, CA, Tower of Power’s top hits that made it to the Billboard Hot 100 include “So Very Hard To Go,” “You’re Still A Young Man,” and “What is Hip?” General admission seating starts at $50 and is first come, first serve. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Mermaid School
To celebrate their win under “Best Aquatic Facility/Waterpark” in Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas, guests can enjoy 10% off Mermaid School when booking throughout the entire month of January for any available date in the future.
· Mermaid School for kids is available Saturdays 8:30-10 a.m.
· Mermaid School for families (ages 7-adults) is available on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 8:30-10 a.m.
· Mermaid School for adults (ages 19 and older) is available on Sundays, Jan. 15 and 22 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Interactive stingray feedings daily at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

January 7, 14, 21 & 28 – Year of the Rabbit Bunny Hunt
In celebration of Chinese New Year, a Year of the Rabbit Bunny Hunt will take place throughout Silverton Casino twice each Saturday in January from 8 a.m to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Silverton Rewards Club players participating in the scavenger hunt will have the opportunity to receive up to $100 in Free Slot Play.
How it Works
· What: Four bunny sign game pieces per game period are hidden throughout the casino. Players must find one of the game pieces and bring it to the Silverton Rewards Club for a Free Slot Play worth $20, $50 or $100.
· How: Each day, Silverton Casino will share a daily clue on-site and on Silverton Casino’s Twitter account. Players can use the clue to help find the bunny sign game piece to boost their chances of winning.
