The SPAZMATICS will take over the South Point Showroom on Saturday, Aug. 4 for the celebration of the group’s 10-Year anniversary. The SPAZMATIC’s will have guests on their feet as they dance the night away to the best of the 1980s. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID.

Named “Las Vegas Headliner of the Year” three times, South Point Showroom welcomes Frankie Moreno to the stage. At just the age of 10 years old, Moreno made his debut on CBS “Star Search.” Singer, showman, songwriter and musician, Moreno will entertain the audience with his highly contagious music and playful stage antics.

 

Comedian Dat Phan

This event is for guests 18 and over.

Touring comedian Dat Phan returns to South Point Showroom to entertain audiences with a night of raucous jokes that will leave guests crying from laughter. Phan’s career exploded after he won the first season of NBC‘s “Last Comic Standing” and now performs standup routines on stages across the country while breaking into the acting world.

 

Mrs. Vietnam World Pageant
Sunday, Aug. 5

The Mrs. Vietnam World Pageant returns to the South Point Showroom to crown Mrs. Vietnam. The pageant focuses on community service and is open to all married Vietnamese women around the world. Additionally, guests can expect to enjoy the music of James Brown featuring Down Around Brown Town and a performance from the talented R.A.G.E dancers. The winner of the pageant will represent Vietnam is the Mrs. World Beauty Pageant in Sanya, China this December.

 

The Four Freshmen

Las Vegas natives, The Four Freshman, will take over the South Point Showroom and keep audiences singing and dancing all weekend long. The Four Freshmen formed in 1948 and have been touring worldwide ever since, with each member bringing remarkable vocal abilities and instruments such as drums, the trumpet, guitar and bass that make up their trademark vocal jazz harmony sounds.

Tony Orlando

Music legend Tony Orlando once again takes over the South Point Showroom stage for an evening of great entertainment. Orlando’s unmistakable smooth voice showcases the classic sounds of the past that will have guests singing along all night. Orlando will perform some of his greatest hits including “Sweet Gypsy Rose,” “Who’s In The Strawberry Patch with Sally,” “Knock Three Times,” “You’re A Lady,” “He Don’t Love You” and more.

 

James Darren

The South Point Showroom welcomes the return of James Darren, an actor, director, singer and performer with a career that spans over 60 years. Darren’s audiences will immediately feel his passion and love for his music as he performs his own renditions of legendary classics as well as his own songs such as “Conscience,” “You Take My Heart Away” and “Her Royal Majesty.”

 

Ambrosia

The five-time Grammy nominated American rock band Ambrosia will take over the South Point Showroom from Friday, August 31 through Sunday, Sept. 2. Ambrosia is world renown for hits like “How Much I Feel,” “You’re the Only Woman,” and many more. Audiences can expect to be blown away by the accomplished musicians and dance the night away to their unique, chart topping rock style.

Crystal Gayle

Crystal Gayle brings her award-winning, blended country and pop sounds to the South Point Showroom. As her career took off in the 70s, Gayle is now known as a Grammy Award winner for “Best Female Vocal Performance” and the proud winner of multiple Country Music Awards such as “Top Female Vocalist.” Gayle will perform her top hits such as “Talkin in Your Sleep,” “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue,” “I’ll Do It All Over Again,” “When I Dream” and more.

 

Dennis DeYoung: The Grand Illusion 40th Anniversary Album Tour Performing the Album Entirety Plus All The Hits

As the founding member of the rock group Styx, Dennis DeYoung has entertained fans for over five decades and will bring the band’s celebrated music to life to the South Point Showroom. Now touring with a new rock band dedicated to the legacy of Styx, DeYoung will perform hits such as “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” “Best of Times,” “Mr. Roboto,” “Show Me The Way,” “Babe” and more.

 

The Lettermen

The Lettermen return to the South Point Showroom for another music-filled weekend as they wow guests with their impeccable harmonies and dance moves. The Lettermen give guests a weekend of shows the whole family can enjoy and they will be blown away by the group’s unique variety of voices as they blend into perfect harmonies. The Queen of rock and soul, Tina Turner impersonator Cookie Watkins, rocks the Grandview Lounge for a single night engagement. Guests can expect to be blown away by Cookie’s renditions of Tina Turner classics like, “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “The Best” and “Proud Mary.”

 

KWCUSA National Finals 2018

The Karaoke World Championship U.S.A. takes over the Grandview Lounge for three days of the top performances from aspiring singers from across the United States. Guests can expect to enjoy the top 100 finalists from across the country compete for the positions of the top male, female and duet karaoke performers in the U.S. Finalists named at KWCUSA National Finals will continue on to represent the U.S.A. in the KWC World Event held in Malaga, Spain later this year.

 

Wes Winters – Friday and Saturday Throughout August
Wes Winters takes over the Grandview Lounge and will dazzle audiences with his exceptional piano playing and vocal abilities on Friday and Saturday nights in August from 6 to 9 p.m. Winters will treat guests to a night of smooth, lounge style jazz, allowing audiences to unwind one moment and sing along the next. This event is free and open to the public.

 

“Dirty at 12:30” with Gabe Lopez – Friday Nights Throughout August
Gabe Lopez and the South Point present “The Dirty at 12:30” inside the South Point Grandview Lounge every Friday night throughout August from 12:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. This show is not for guests that are easily offended and cannot handle dirty raw comedy. Special guests who have appeared on the “Dirty” stage include Ralphie May, Joey Diaz, Joe Rogan, Carlos Mencia and many more. This show is free and open to guests 21 or older with a valid form of ID.

Gregg Austin’s M Town – Tuesday Nights Throughout August

The sound of Motown invades the South Point Showroom every Tuesday throughout August from 8 to 11 p.m. Guests will experience an evening hosted by Gregg Austin while enjoying the everlasting sounds that dramatically altered the world of music. General admission tickets are available for $10 at the front door and include one complimentary drink. Reserved seating will also be available for $15 and includes two complimentary drinks with purchase.

 

Déjà Vu – Wednesday Nights Throughout August

The South Point Showroom hosts Déjà Vu every Wednesday throughout August from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests will experience an evening of pure excitement as they dance through the decades. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID and present a South Point Slot Club Card. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. General admission tickets are available for $5 at the front door and includes a complimentary drink. Dennis Bono Show – Thursday Afternoons Throughout August

South Point’s Dennis Bono Show offers guests a wide variety of amusement in the South Point Showroom every Thursday throughout August. Featuring appearances with established celebrities from the world of entertainment, Bono’s interaction with his guests creates a one-of-a-kind performance. Doors open at 1 p.m. This show is free and open to the public.

 

SPAZMATICS – Saturday Nights Throughout August

The SPAZMATICS will party away to the best of the 1980s in the South Point Showroom every Saturday night throughout August. Tickets are available for $5 or guests can purchase a “SPAZMATICS Party Package” for $10 including one ticket, one drink and reserved seating. Doors open at 10 p.m. General admission tickets are available to purchase for $5 as well as VIP tickets. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID.
