StarBase Kicks Off Triple Crown Events With Hybrid Horse Racing Series for the Kentucky Derby
StarBase, a hybrid event space, is bringing hybrid horse racing to Las Vegas starting with the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 7 at 11 a.m. StarBase has teamed up with Zed Run and Las Vegas NFT to bring virtual horse racing to the venue. Wear your biggest hat or finest bowtie to watch the biggest races of the year and participate in your own virtual horse race. The fun will continue with the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 21 at 12:30 p.m., and will conclude with the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 11 at 12:30 p.m.
All three events are free and open to anyone over the age of 21 with a two-drink minimum. In order to participate in the virtual horse race and be eligible for horse giveaways from local stable owners, guests must set up their metamask wallet. There will be viewing areas for the Triple Crown races throughout the eclectic venue.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from The Traveling Lobster. Mint Juleps will be the specialty cocktail in honor of the festivities and will be available at all of the bars. Raffle prizes from Stitched will be handed out for best dressed, best hat, and best bowtie which will be judged by local media and influencers.
